Why do you have to link your Alexa to Talksport

what's the point, don't get it, I don't want to for no reason but the advert at the beginning is really annoying, don't really want to keep listening to that oaf Brazil saying 'oi you ya tube ya still haven't linked your alexa' though now I ask Alexa to count to 25 just so I don't keep hearing it, will probably just switch station soon, seems like they just want more of your personal information or something.
