Why did Dier go to Bayern, why not go to a club where you are first choice to give yourself the chance to make the England squad in the summer instead, whe Upermacano and De Ligt are fit they are first choice.
Only 2 points behind now as well with the game vs Leverkusen in a couple of weeks

He's barely touched the ball. Having an absolute stinker. It happened in a lot of his big games at Spurs as well.

Bayern have gone above and beyond to make Harry feel at home by bottling all the competitions. At least he is on course to win the Bundesliga top scorer trophy. Which just happens to look like Arsenal's canon.

They're not nicknamed Bayer Neverkusen for no reason, only have to go back to the final game of last season for a reason to not get too carried away concerning the demise of Bayern.
Kane simply isn't a top class player. He is a good finisher of chances the team produces but as Spurs have shown this year, if you take him our others will score in place of him. His is not in the same league as Shearer at his peak who took a Blackburn team who would finish maybe top 5 without him and won the league. Drop him out and no one could replace Shearers goal output/general play.
Bayern were always incredibly shrewd in the transfer market historically. They would mainly buy within the Bundesliga.
Buying Kane raised doubts for me....not that hes not a good player but spending that much on an older player was questionable.
Buying Boey and Dier though show whoever is making recruitment decisions there now doesn't have an iota of what a footballer looks like let alone a good one.... Add in that Tuchel isnt a good coach and its not a good mix.
I think Klopp will end up their eventually as a final gig.

The issue with Kane and Shearer at Newcastle was they were so dominant in terms of reputation that other players would just keep passing to them even if another team mate was in a better position. It creates a weak team mentality where other players are afraid of upsetting the "Big Star".
You can see this in Kane now whinging about team mates not finding him in past few games.
What always stood out to me about Kane though is he no doubt would prefer personal stats than actually sacrificing some of his game to become part of a decent team. When he scores he always does that half hearted pathetic celebration. Few of his team mates at Spurs or even now at Munich passionately celebrate with him.

This has to be right up there with the most made up posts ever on the forum, do you even watch football, he was playing very deep for tottenham under Conte and Jose at times, constantly coming back into his own half, almost like a sitting midfielder and being criticised for sacrificing himself for the team

I've nothing against Harry Kane personally but schadenfreude is a major part of football.

Just don't expect him to score a (non-penalty) goal at this stage of the competition. From here on Harry will be very much a passenger.
Will he get a sniff of a goal when it really matters though next week? He's been very much a passenger over the years when it comes to the BIG games.
