I have a (largely irrational) gut feeling that there's going to be piles of goals in the Leeds-Liverpool game tonight. Big atmosphere, night game, yadda yadda.
There's been an average of 4.8 goals across Leeds' last 5 games. Although a draw would put them 3 points clear of safety, with superior GD, they don't seem to know how to play steady, controlled games.
Liverpool may have recovered some of their attacking mojo against Arsenal and know that if they want to put any kind of pressure on the 4th spot contenders then 3 wins from Leeds, Forest & West Ham are vital.
The exchange makes the goal-line at a nudge over 3 goals.
These lines look tempting to back on a sliding scale.

It is a rather tepid game so far. Leeds were a bit unfortunate at the weekend, they should have scored in the first half and it would have been a totally different match.
Leeds winning is bad for us it only leaves Everton down there to overtake then

Didn't see the game because I had to go out and I've not got round to watching the recording...... So don't know how it went ...will watch it soon

I honestly don't know what is going on with VAR. It seems that there is absolutely no consistency in applying the laws of the game.

Carragher just taken half time analysis to a new low; how he could come out with that drivel and keep a straight face is beyond belief.
Basically you can start a move with a handball and score, as long as there are at least 3 passes between the hand ball and the goal.
Imagine Carragher if it were Leeds that scored in that way, he'd be absolutely foaming at the mouth.
I'd like to see the Handball Law and the guidance the VAR has in front of him.

I think taa moved his hand to ball so it's hand ball.
Had the ball hit his hand/arm accidentally it's not handball as he didn't score.

Conceding 9+ goals to two mid-table sides in two home games. Leeds probably deserve to go down after this.
With Soton & Forest looking in deep trouble I think that there's enough about Leeds for them to stay up.

The only thing that has surprised me tonight is that we actually scored that was a bigger surprise than the truly absurd VAR non handball that led directly to a goal

We need relegating now put us out of our misery total carp all season the signings made both pre season and in the window absolute garbage and totally overloaded with wide players Harrison,Summerville,Sinistera,Gnonto,Dan James before loaned out to Fulham then the absurdity of £36 million for Rutter a 20 yr old wide player as hes not a centre forward and the last time i did maths from a football starting 11 you can only play 2 wide attacking players in the line up meanwhile we have needed a new centre forward ever since our championship days,amateurs running the club.
What I've seen of Gnonto,he looks a good player.

it's been obvious for ages that Trent is either a midfielder or his nothing, said on the has Klopp flopped in England thread that's where he should be, there's your 100 million pound mid.
Leeds were doing OK under Ted Lasso, they hadn't downed tools, always looked to attacked, lacked a striker when Bamford or Rodygo was out, though his American signings look Pap.

Gnonto is a good player and has quite a few caps for Italy so is Sinisterra but they are the exception to the rest and they will not be wanting to play in the championship but my point is the squad was totally overloaded with wide players and it was totally unbalanced when we have been desperate for a goal scoring centre forward and a decent centre half, Wober may also prove to be a good signing at centre back or left back

Mes Leeds were doing Sheight under Marsch and if he had still been in charge we would undoubtedly not have picked up as many points we had not won a game in absolute ages whereas we have won 3 recently under the new guy but he has inherited the mess left behind by Marsch, just take a look at Marsch's previous job at Leipzig they finished the German season 3rd 2 seasons back then Marsch got the job for the start of the following season which was last season and he lasted about 3 months as they were doing really poor so he was sacked then a new guy came in and they finished the season in the top 6 with Marsch being given the Leeds job later on in that same season,so he has failed in both the German league and the Premier league.
I backed them for Relegation start of season along with Bournemouth and Southampton as I didn't rate him either, but they were not that bad when I saw them, we (Arsenal) were lucky to get a win at Elland Road this season. You could argue Marsch took over the mess Bielsa left, he was still managing most of his players, and Bielsa was taken them down with those hammerings week after week.
I will give you Marsch did ok last season saving us from relegation but this season shows he is not up to it in the major leagues as he was bringing in his signings so it was his team who clearly were very poor and wide open in defence with chaotic football and nearly every signing was an American or someone he had previously managed before at RB Salzburg or RB Leipzig and now he has gone i expect most of then to abandon ship as well especially if we get relegated,the Arsenal game was one of our better performances but it still ended up in defeat and Marsch was an expert in getting defeats out of so called decent performances which is always the sign of a bad team,play well and lose so you can be damm sure you are going to lose when you dont play well.
