Rangers could make the play offs but its a long shot.

QPR can confirm it has taken the decision to withdraw its players from the Winter Cup, a youth tournament held in Milan.
This action has been taken after one of our U13 players was subjected to racist abuse from an opposition player at the conclusion of our fixture on Saturday 13th December.

Despite progressing to the next stage of the competition, the club has decided not to continue its involvement.

QPR Academy Director Alex Carroll said: “It is regrettable to find ourselves in such a situation.

“Providing our youngsters with exposure to tournaments in different countries can be hugely beneficial for their development.

“However, we have a zero-tolerance stance on all forms of discrimination and will always take the steps necessary to protect our players.

“We are incredibly proud of the way our boys handled a very difficult situation.

“The club’s safeguarding team are now in contact with those impacted by this incident.”

The squad will return to London this evening (Sunday 14th December).

Terrible situation,lads have played well and are coming home.Under 13s.

Don't apologise 11kv, I came here nearly 50 years ago and have witnessed the changes. I no longer go into the city if I can help it. The bin strike has lasted a year now which doesn't help.

It's not much different around Villa Park and the Hawthorns, all three grounds are only a few miles apart.

Went to Villa Park many moons ago, a couple of lads asked us for a fiver to look after our car for us. Those were the days.

Leicester seems an ok place.

1-3 Leicester really have fallen the trap door,the Rangers went 1 down but kept going and scored the 2nd was on own goal as The foxes cant defend,then a decent goal from Ronnie gave us a needed 3 points and a happy away day.Good away support as usual.

The championship is very difficult and for them to get into the top 8 under the new arrangements wd be great and who knows what cd happen from there.

I was in the away end - away fans only get the upper tier now at QPR - so it was all sold out to longer term season ticket holders at Boro. There will be 2,600 Boro fans at Palace tomorrow night for a League Cup game.

I thought QPR were improved on last season's QPR side and certainly caused Boro problems in the second half when Burrell came on. They also have a number of lively attacking players and a team to watch for goals. An issue with the Championship is how much better it will be than last season. My feelings is it will be tougher all round.

Boro have 12 new first team players this Summer and also had three key players just recovering from long term injuries , I suspect the first 11 will develop over the next 2 weeks which will bring a pick up in performances.

Charlton away,packed away end to be expected 2 point dropped imo

Their goal was offside although SKY ****s trying to stir the sh it.

2 more injured which is usual for us which is why we need to get points on the board.
