Played 5, lost 5.

Scored 1 goal, which, in classic Lampard style, was a deflection.

It is embarassing and cringeworthy watching him continue trying to justify himself in interviews.
However, as I said about three months ago, when Potter was losing these same matches, the Chelsea players should be heartily ashamed of themselves.  I've never seen a manager defend well when off the ball in my life, or do anything else on the park during a match and blame should be attached where it clearly belongs.

Potter didn't do great but won one more game than he lost and the team was unlucky under his stewardship.

FWIW.  Since Emery took over Villa in the PL their record is P20 W13 D3 L4 PTS 42.  Over the same period Chelsea's is P20 W4 D6 L10 PTS 18

The Expected Goal Difference of both sides during those matches .... Villa -2 Chelsea +5!!

So over the last 20 games on chances created Chelsea are 0.35 goals a game superior to Villa, yet Villa got 42 points and Chelsea 18!!!!!

and a 21 better GD than Chelsea equivalent to 1.05 goals a game, so a swing from EXGD of 1.4 goals a game

Haven't Villa scored in EVERY competitive game since Emery took over?
By:
CLYDEBANK29
When: 27 Apr 23 12:51
yeah they have.

FWIW under Gerrard Villa had a GD of -9 and a EXP GD of -4.

So the same players under Emery who have the best conversion rate in the PL, couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo under Gerrard and had the 4th worst conversion rate.

Even Lampard is not this bad at football management. Got to be part of a grand plan. Perhaps the owner has them tanking for higher draft picks

When will the novice football owner of Chelsea come to his senses and sack Lampard? Lampard cannot improve Chelsea for all the money at his disposal; Lampard is not a winner at football management.

played 429 games for the club, ergo must be able to manage them.

Pep is laughing.  Sold Sterling for £47m & bought Alvarez in to replace him for £14m

Sterling rant AGAIN.  When he's bad he's very very bad.  That 3rd goal conceded is just typical of him.

The moment you see Lampard put Sterling in the line up you know he has totally lost the plot. Pep is a genius by comparison as he showed when showing Sterling the door with a whopping price tag. ExcitedExcitedExcitedExcited

Frank Lampard has now lost each of the last 10 matches he’s taken charge of across all competitions – he is the first English manager to lose 10 in a row while in charge of a top-flight team since Arthur Cox in February 1988 with Derby

Give lampard more respect
If came out told the players they don’t deserve wear the shirt
Told the owners I’m not your scapegoat
He’s surely can see this as totally **** any chance further jobs as a manger in top tier
Can see there totally given up this season now
Lampard do better to **** off first team bring another 20 old from the cold
Is Winston Bogarde still there?

Has Chelsea a reserve team? If so, select those with big price tags and egos for a spell there; at least 1/2 of 1st team. It might just "wake" them up and restore a bit of pride in themselves and profession, and respect for their fans.
