Anyone know the exact criteria (in order) for deciding Golden Boot winner if level on goals scored?? Seems to be conflicting information on-line....cheers

They are not giving Mbappe the assist for the second goal last night. They have counted his minutes from last night. His 2 assists came against Aus and Poland.

Messi is evens with Fred, 1.86 on here. I've got a sound book on here whatever happens but I'm topping up on Messi with them to make him my best result.

B/F Sportsbook paid my Mbappe goal/assist 8/11 within 10mins of the first goal last night. It didn't look like an assist to me so I was surprised when I got paid out.

How many assists does Giroud have ? One goal may do it at 19/1 ?

Fanteam gave Mbappe 2 assists last night.  Zweeler didn't give him either

I don't think FIFA give you the assist if you were going for goal yourself. They used to count those but not this time, I don't think. As they have counted his minutes but not counted an assist for either goal it doesn't look like they will. Different rules for assist betting purposes.

Until 1994, the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot award could be shared between multiple top scorers.
The first instance the Golden Boot was shared among players was in the 1962 edition held in Chile. Six players – Hungary’s Florian Albert, Soviet Union’s Valentin Ivanov, Brazil’s Garrincha and Vava, Yugoslavia’s Drazan Jerkovic and the host nation’s Leonel Sanchez – finished as joint top-scorers with four goals each.
Starting from the 1994 edition, a tie-breaker system was introduced by FIFA to pick out a definitive winner.
The tie-breaker system stated that if two or more players ended with the same number of goals, the player with the most non-penalty goals scored wins the Golden Boot. If players were still tied, the one with more assists wins the award.
However, it didn’t stop Russia’s Oleg Salenko and Bulgaria’s Hristo Stoichkov from sharing the Golden Boot in 1994 as both finished with six goals and one assist.
Oleg Salenko, to date, remains the only FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner whose team was eliminated in the group stages in the year that saw him win the prestigious award. Five of Salenko’s six goals came in a match against Cameroon and still stands as the record for the most goals scored by any player in a single FIFA World Cup match.

It feels like FIFA are determined to make sure Messi wins the Golden Boot with all the pens he's getting. Not sure who's on Pen's for France, think it's Griezmann.

fantasy football does have their own rules for awarding assists, they call it a fantasy assist, so is not actually made up on the spot but does differ from other sources, flashcores didn't credit Mbappe with any assist either.
