If you look at Croatia's run in both World Cup's, they've been pretty lucky, all these penalty shootout wins. drew 5 out of 6 matches in the knockouts in 90 minutes, before losing in the final, just a shame we were robbed of a Brazil/Argentina semi.

if it is a pen what is the goalie supposed to do to not give a foul? If the ball hits him as Walton just said? Or just for the attacker to run round him as he had time to do? If there was a movement to the player then fair dos but there wasn't, he planted his leg the only place he could and the arg player mis-kicked , realised and ran in to him.

The quality overall has been poor. France not as strong as last WC, Croatia the same, Brazil little or no better than last time, Spain flattered to deceive, as did Portugal, Germany hopeless, Belgium hopeless, Holland limited and England tidy but unimaginative and lacking in real quality. Apart from losing their heads 20 minute from time against Holland, Argentina have had it far too easy.
