Even though Holland have been poor, they are improving as the tourney goes on. I have a feeling they might do a number on Messi and his mates.

now wheres that switch!!!

Brazil stopped themselves.. its great for any England fans though. If we face croatia i'll be the first to offer 8's on them in the 90 min market

Croatia will again have olayed a sh!t ton of football if they get passed the next, possibly another extra time incoming as well

They will be tired again by the final and England/France would be licking their lips

They were hopeless today, none of their attacking players turned up. Neymar tried hard, and almost saved the day with a brilliant goal, but they were found wanting against a team that weren't willing to let them do whatever they wanted.

Neymar took that goal well but was atrocious apart from that. Continualy lost the ball and arsed around the pitch

a bloke who was in a relegation battle at Leeds last year...one at Everton last season as well...

a 70m wide player who only has one trick (all be it a good one)...

not quite '70 and '82 is it ?

Why did nobody take out the Croatian breaking forward with
2 minutes to go.

Take the yellow, regroup..

Tiredness won't be a factor.

Racingqueen, did you seriously mean that Grealish can be mentioned in the same breath as the top 50 players in this tournament? Total poser.

No just that its always the loud ones who go missing in action

if you could hand pick 50 players from the world cup I'd probably take Grealish....

brazil seem to have a lot of wingers and attacking midfielders and are short of out and out strikers..............so many similar players. lots of good players but no outstanding ones.

Brentford is correct. The problem with International football now a days is that friendlies mean next to nothing hence you get half decent players racking up high goal tallies over their careers like Richarlison

Raphina has been awful in this tournament
Fred has been awful for years
Paqueta is not a central midfielder

All whilst the best midfielder in the PL Bruno Guimaraes sits on the bench.

Richarlison is a rag average player. Perfectly suited to Everton a mid table club. Making an absolute ar5e of himself against Notts Forest acting the hard man.

international stats should be like club stats.........friendlies should not count.........

Kalvin Phillips, Jordan Pickford, Sterling?

By:
brentford
When: 09 Dec 22 22:11
not sure Sterling was in any relegation battle lurka...Mischief

you'd note Brazil were sub 2's and started the tourny at sub 7/2....

what's your point ?

Making the same point you were presumably. England also have an 80m CH who can;t get a game at his club.

Don't hear the same criticisms
By:

that as originally stated pre tourny...Brazil weren't a class apart and not worthy favs at sub 7/2...

or meriting sub 2/1 at the QF stage....

Agreed. 5 WCs in a row they've gone out to the first decent euro side they've faced. Always overhyped based on performance in south america which is never a barometer of how good they are.
By:

Today will mean almost 30 years since they made a final

Croatia know how to stop a team playing and sadly when it comes to penalties theyve been attending the German school on the.

Argentina have 4 wins in 5 so arent to shabby on them either, be funny if that game did go to penalties Laugh

They won it in 2002
