is that croatia  the world cup finalists, and didnt england beat denmark in euro semis ?

And we beat Germany in the last 16, conveniently forgotten by Detective Columbo.

In the last World Cup you could say that France only beat: Australia, Peru, Uruguay, Belgium and Croatia, I'll conveniently forget about the Argies!!.........they failed to beat Denmark, failed to beat Hungary and Switzerland in the Euros and were knocked out at the last 16 stage. Mbappe included.

Uruguay, Belgium and Croatia were better than the Argies and England at the last WC. Uruguay won 3/3 in their group and then KO'd Portugal. They'd have beaten England imo. Belgium beat England twice and would have got to the final if they were in England's half. If they were smart they'd have lost to England in the group as their path was known at that stage.

Belgium were appalling this year. Uruguay could not get out of their group. Brazil look solid but England and France both possess the firepower to compete with probably the best side in the competition. Belgium will be shown to be an ageing side who find difficulty scoring goals.  Only England and France

How many teams actually beat really top sides to win it? Brazil had Turkey Costa Rica China Belgium England Turkey and Germany in 2002, only England were really of any quality in that and Germany pulled off a Gareth of epic proportions to reach the final.

Italy in 2006 were quite fortunate with their group and then beat Australia and Ukraine next 2 needing a 90th penalty vs Australia, beat a young German side in the semifinals in extra time, and then beat France on penalties after Zidane went full begbie

Spain... jesus they had more lives than a cat

France been mentioned

You beat whats in front of you and rarely do you have to beat truly top 10 sides until the later stages

I mean beat top sides all the way through, its not happening

Italy, Spain, Brazil, France and Germany.. none of them care, they are world cup winners, they beat all that were put in front of them.

England actually do have a very tough Quarter and Semifinal coming up if theyre to win it

you sound like am absolute bitter mug who had probably not being home in 15 months, still celebrating that 0-0 draw at Wembley last year, get back in your box and leave talk of the big boy games to the respective fans, i.e. us English who are used to dining at the top table, we might not be last to leave, but we're always there, the Scots are outside in the cold with a carboard cutout sign asking not asking for money, but asking people not to laugh at you Laugh now feck you silly dope. Kind Regards.

I am pretty confident we can beat France but if I had a French car I would leave it in the garage on Saturday night!

Formoftheace makes good point on bile and possible vandalism

If it goes to pens and whoever misses house will likely get trashed about an hour after it’s done

I’m thinking it’s better to back France to qualify at 1.8

I think we all know the outcome

Any penalty takers for England will be thinking about what happened last time

I doubt young saka will step up…

Dreadful situation

Japanese fans cried with pride

They even tidy up after them in the stadium….where as European manners are left in an embarrassing state…
