Its a coin flip game
Ive had it down as a France Brazil final so ill not be going against it now But England is defiantly in with a chance |

In their last two major tournaments, England have beaten the combined might of Iran, Wales, Senegal, Ukraine, Croatia and Czech Republic whilst failing to beat USA, Scotland and Denmark.

The media obsessing with Mbebbe .....what if he has a 'quiet' game , all players do.
The French will be just as concerned at Foden ,Bellingham and Sako pullig Varane and c0 all over the park , with the best number 9 in the tournament in front of them......with the options to switch to Mount , Rashford and Grealish later .....their eggs are in one basket ....and they have one egg. I have felt since the Euros we have the attacking flair to beat anybody but not the defence. If Southgate sets up for a boring won on penalties we will lose , if he has the sense to attack we will win. We are either a 4-2 winning outfit or 1-0 losing team.....let's hope he goes for it. |

As strange as it may seem,if England go a goal behind at any point up to the 70th minute, it might actually in their favour, as they can then go gung ho, and anything is possible.

England going a goal down to a top side is completely uncharted territory for them and Southgate. What will Southgate do tactically to change it up? Nobody knows. France can play on the counter with Mbappe then, when he is twice as dangerous with space to attack and he will prob attack Stones and Maguire rather than Walker then.
Best No 9 in the tournament? Giroud, Alvarez, Richarlison, Morata have all been better than Kane against generally better teams. It is arguable that Kane isn't even a No 9 any more. Attacking flair? Again, you should be looking at the performance against the USA as a barometer for attacking flair as, on the day, they were a level above all the other teams you faced and the teams you will likely face are levels plural above them. |

I wouldn't fancy Saka against Hernandez. I would fancy Foden more against Kounde, who is not a right back (assuming Pavard isn't used but he might be worse). Foden isn't really a winger either tho and is not the paciest. Not really the type of player you see skinning a full back.

I see it as a close game. Would have preferred Sterling or Rashford then Crealish to torment tge right back. Hernandez has been playing well buf let’s see how he does against Saka.
I think this is close but any number of hinges can shape or change this battle. My big hope is that Mbappe had to get “ his “ goal as there is a Me in his tEaM. |

The World Champions are quite rightly the favourites, but without Giroud and Mbappe against Tunisia they looked a bit toothless, Giroud can be stopped as he was just ok in the PL, but how do you stop Mbappe? Does Walker still have the pace? I dont think so.....there lies the problem.

France will be looking to feed Mbappe even if a better pass is on. Mbappe will also want to score, he is after the golden boot and will take on a lot himself rather than make the obvious pass. He is not as bad as Ronaldo or Neymar in the selfishness stakes but has so much confidence in himself he thinks he can do it all and he can but there is a cost against good sides. We are all aware of the threat he poses but we have to use that.
Dembele is very effective to as is Vinicius Jnr but both do not get enough ball. That is not good team play. This is about the TEAM although moments of brilliance or rather genius is what may be required. England are a TEAM! I really cannot call this as so much depends on fate, luck, kama, the referee call it what you want. England are good going forward. If we go forward and give it to our ball players we have as good a chance as them but ain't nothing like Mbappe on speed! I just want to enjoy the show and our boys to give it their best shot. Looks like we have settled on 433 without Mount, good! I would rather Sterling or Rashord as they have pace. Foden and Crealish are kwality and will have more room to weave ther magic after 60 mins. I don't know who dominates possession. That could also be key. We are not as good as the Africans and Celestials at keeping ball but we are good at using it in the right area of the pitch. We have the tools and the weapons as do they. Great day for Cumberland sausage, mash and onion gravy don't you think Tiger ? |

I don't hate the Sweaty's but I do expect them to rise above the parapet if we lose
