England were in complete control of the Iran game and this one. Too negative against USA. But there isn't a truly great team in this WC. England have every chance of making the final IMO

Stop the game. Wales are being outplayed and humiliated. A gulf exists between the two teams.

Wales are full of weak players. Going off for heading a ball , going off with hammys , half fit players, injured players eyc

Martin Sheene should of been part of the squad, talked the talk, his Churchillian speech was amazing, the bravery of Welsh players was not fitting of his speech.

To be honest Sont, it was some achievement for Wales to even qualify for this WC

Would you start the same team against Senegal, Bluemanc? Nice balance to it so I'd definitely go with the same team.

Well done winners.
Wp I worked with homeless in Manchester I admire Rashford, but let his boots talk.
I'd go all attack v Senegal, include Grealish.

Think thats the last we see of the Welsh at major tournaments ,their best players ,Bale ,Ramsey ,Allen are all getting on ,and they were awful even with those 3.
By:
Whippin Piccadilly
When: 29 Nov 22 21:09
Yeah I'd love to see Grealish starting too. Let's just go all out attack and see how far it takes us. We have the attacking players to get us to the final IMO.

All excellent players at one time Snowy but it's clear their legs have gone. You don't retire from football, football retires you.

Page,'Wales were outstanding in the 1st half'.
They offered nothing.

yes ,not a word of criticism again of the Welsh ,even the manager says hes proud of them ,they were garbage in all 3 games apart from 20 minute in second half against USA,if t was England everyone would be tearing strips off them .

Wales scores one goal a penalty, never looked like scoring from open play all three games, to say they should be proud is an insult to those supporters out there ffs

Wales got to a euros SF. Qualifying for a WC was not really some monumental achievement for this team but still great for a country of that size. They were well below their level in qualifying in all 3 group games.

Well we are through and as I said at after the draw, that England had hit the jackpot. 2 very good performances and 1 very average one. How will we fare, well its Senegal next, a side who got to the quarter finals in 2002, but that was along time ago. Sadio Mane (Liverpool)will be a threat, while Eduardo Mendy (Chelsea is the goalkeeper, while Kouyate (Tottenham) Mendy (Leicester) and a couple of nottingham Forest players are all in their squad and they will all know the strengths and weaknesses of most of our players, but in all fairness we ought to be beating Senegal in the game on Sunday and if we don't, we don't deserve to be left in the last 8 of the tournament.

Good confidence booster ... especially for Rashford. It's a shame Wales couldn't get through that group. Get past Senegal and anything can happen

France without Mbappe look like an ordinary team, usually you spot a winner early on, a stand out team, but this year it could be a year with a shock winner for the first time, there's never really been a shock winner of a World Cup that I can remember, England will dispatch Senegal, they're not good enough so it wont be them.

I'm thinking Saudi Arabia.
