Lee Ho Fooks - The air that I breathe was written (as were a large number of other acclaimed songs) by Albert Hammond...

Just looked up Hammond, songwriter in a similar vein to Nick Lowe who often drank in the same pub as me near Roehampton Gate in the late 70's..

Yep' "Seasons in the sun", "Without you" and "Summer(the first time)" are very evocative of the early 70's'  also

if you could read my mind by Gordon lightfoot
Where do you go to my lovely, Peter Sarstedt
The year of the cat , Al Stewart(slightly surprised to see it was released in 1976, thought it was much earlier)
The Windmills of your mind, (really 1969, but must have heard it a thousand times in my early childhood)
"the streets of London"
a couple of Cat Steven's songs as well.

Back in 75/77 we were very poor(not the ludicrous definition today) dirt poor.
I had no record player..........but my uncles were minted(odd I know) and one of them owned a nightclub.

The whole family often worked at the club ....and whenever we were there in the daytime I got to use the disco record decks and the clubs amazing 7 inch record collection.

Working there in the evening the songs that always seemed to be played included :

Isn't She Lovely  - Stevie Wonder
I Love To Love - Tina Charles
Jack In The Box - The Moments
Glass Of Champagne - Sailor
