We had a semi professional side play us down the park when we were teenagers and they did nothing but play around us with a bit of movement in the last 20 minutes

We did ok for like 30 minutes but once our legs were heavy we conceded like 8 goals amd they weren’t really trying ffs

Itd be the same with the women’s team vs the men

can imagine the slating England would have got relying on the playoff route in a group with Switzerland the only competition...

Italy won’t be that bothered after winning the Euros though

They’ve been on a downer since

Greavsie and Bobby Charlton would have 200 international goals in this ludicrous modern farce of England beating San Marino and Andorra under 9's home away.

Yes, I wouldn't have Kane anywhere the top of the best English forwards. These games just allow him to bag a hatful against rubbish teams and make up for the times he has been poor.

We once challenged one of the other local stations to a game mainly as an excuse to have a game of footie and drink loads of beer together....both sides had a choice of 64 players most of whom had very little contact with the game since leaving school, myself included......one of their players played amateur football at a very good level, think it was Farsley Celtic he played for.......we couldn't get the ball off him and whenever he got the ball near the goal he scored....that was one player making a hell of a difference.

If England Women's national side played the San Marino Men's national side I'd be shocked if San Marino didn't win by at least 10.  I think it would be nearer 20.  Physically they just couldn't compete and whilst San Marino might be awful compared to international teams the above post highlights compared to your average Joe they'd be at a very good level.

I think that the USA Women's team played Dallas boys u-15 side and lost 5-0

You can't go back over 50 years since sport has moved on massively since the 60s.  I do believe the 66 winning side would get hammered if they were playing today.  It's from the 70s onwards where sport became properly professional and standards rose dramatically.  I can only think of Keegan Lineker Shearer Owen and Rooney comparable to Kane, so he has to be near the top.  Personally I think Keegan is top as he won the Ballon D'Or twice in a row.  Owen won it too, but his elite level career was over very quickly and he's arguably the worst Ballon D'Or winner in recent memory.  I'd rate him last of the six.  Not much to choose between the other 4.  All very good, but definitely not Ballon D'Or winning level

Lineker for me would be the best goalscorer England have had in my lifetime.(67)

How many international breaks have we had this season?  cos of that filth West Ham have a fixture pile up.  Something like 12 games in 37 days. Why?  so that arry can pretend he has still got it?  so that the man u capt can look an even bigger tool than we 1st thought?  so that sir g can make wise buddha like poses on the touchline as we batter the dishwashers of european football.  The football calender needs a revamp
