we're far better suited to playing positive teams like Italy but the obvious nerves of some players worries me and inevitably we'll be seriously in trouble if we go behind against a better side...
but there are plenty of tourny winners who've scraped through games they should win more comfortably... |

they won the semi final and it is not liked by the anti english on here - it is so funny to see their jealousy and exasperation - their teams never made it to the final except italy as they vent their anger ho ho

late 80s and 90s was an era where pens weren't given for someone blowing on a players shirt- it was more physical back then and VAR has sucked the joy out of goal celebrations. Another issue I have is the handball rule in the pen area where if a ball is blasted at an arm it is invariably a penalty instead of the old rule where it had to be hand to ball to justify one and blatant/ deliberate. Penalties are game changers and far too many are given in modern football

I'm not "bitter" in the slightest - just don't like seeing them win, as its so enjoyable when they lose. It's been great fun for decades. Hope it doesn't end Sunday.
(As it happens I have frequently cheered for England (and against them) in cricket depending on where my money lies. Never back England football team as it would be too conflicting) What I don't really understand is WHY would English thinks Scots would support them ? For what reason? |
