Huge numbers of subs makes a mockery out of the game, it ruins predictions on starting 11s for viewers, takes away any need for fitness, disrupts the game like your insane American sports obliterating the free flowing nature of football creating a stop start snooze fest.. keep these insane ideas on the other side of the Atlantic

It doesn't need to disrupt the game.

The game only stops for substitutions because that is the rule at present (which is an archaic rule dating from when you could only bring a sub on if someone had a broken leg)
