Kane has 12 goals during qualification, Sterling has 8. Although I think his form has dipped a little of late, you can see why Southgate is keen to keep him in the team and shouldn't really be considered a weak link. Mings most certainly is though; never an international player imo.

Yep, very true sm, but it's the only explanation I can think of for Southgate continuing with him. He should, at least, be in the squad.
