But that was in the past, they've had two top players "Wow"! If they were both in the team I would include them as they wouldn't be here to make up the numbers as 120/1 shots and without ONE PLAYER anyone could name in their team without Googling it. We all know that nobody in their right mind would have them as their choice if they had to pick the winner. So why not be HONEST and make a choice who they REALLY think may win it? |

To be fair I think if you look at the threads in general there's not that many who actually join in with the 'chats'. Th Man Utd thread seems dead for weeks and weeks with very little on there and the Liverpool thread has really got about the same half a dozen or so posters. Perhaps lots just read the various threads but don't make any input? Fair enough, to each his own. |

Convinced myself Spain for weeks now with Italy and maybe a touch of Germany.. But having my doubts.
How can France not win this? Normally try to avoid the obvious... France, Spain, Italy and England/Germany semi's... Extra time, Penalties.. gonna be a coin toss.. Aspro knows what he's talking about... I choose Italy. |

I watched Germany last night. It was only Latvia (who had one shot that went in!), great goal. But although it was only Latvia, Germany did play really well with Seven different scorers!
They don't seem to be the same old final bound Germany we expect at every tournament but write them off at your peril I'd say so can see why people are voting for them. |

I don't think the French see it that way ffaith. Assou-Ekotto came over and said how surprised he was that black players were considered British here whereas black players in France are considered by their heritage, double-barrelled with France. If they're born and raised in France they should simply be called French no? America is the same and probably many others too.
