His experience will take care of those. He is probably the best out there (for us) and, if I'm not mistaken, he's stalling on a new contract
By:
Bielsa is an interesting man. Apparently, he prefers 12-month contracts. That in itself sounds honourable in today's world
By:
Bielsa enjoys the quiet life . Walks to training , walks to the supermarket , walks to the chippy....all without getting hassled. Id be amazed if he went to London and the goldfish bowl existance it would entail.

You're right scaredmoney, often to be found in the isles of Morrisons Wetherby, remember driving along thinking I know that scruffy guy,yes its was Bielsa, never seen him without the tracksuit on,I would guess Leeds will be his only job in this country.
By:
He could buy himself a pension at Spurs... just a thought

As I said weeks ago, it's Mason until the end of the season and Potter in the summer, that's the plan.

lol, if Bielsa was offered the Tottenham job he's drop the Leeds job like a hot potato, you're confusing being down to earth with not being ambitious.
If Potter was appointed it really would sum up level, seriously underwhelming, go out and get a big Don that's current or settle for more of the same over the last few years, which is nothing. Problem being is any top coach knows there's no money to spend there. |
By:
Levy not level.
By:
If ten Haag is so committed to Ajax why only sign a one year deal?
Could be a way of the club getting a 'transfer fee', and for ten Haag to see if Spurs really want him that much. |

Potter maybe fits the profile that Levy has, of - relative - success in the Premier League.
Can't really see that he has done at Brighton what Poch did at Soton though (or Rodgers did at Swansea). The market rates Brighton as about the 10th place team, and the table can lie, but is the lack of goals and relegation struggle just due to Brighton having crap players or is it the result of Potterball? |
By:
Just read an article that Ralf Rangnick is now in sight
By:
These manager markets always have been a minefield.. Bookmakers going 11/4 fav Rodgers! 10s would be too short imo....
Rangnick.. ? does he fit Levy?Potter and Parker.. are we in a position to take on an apprentice? |
By:
Scotty Parker is a new 2/1 favourite with Bookies...
Still 11/1 on here... |
By:
it would be a real Levy appointment to appoint someone cheap and cheerful, who's used to working with no funds and wont be demanding.
By:
Levy wants the best of both worlds. Someone who has a pedigree and doesn't mind a tight budget. Good luck with that!
By:
Is Kenny Jackett available?
By:
Levy is at the Brighton game. Potter just passed his audition.
By:
you jest?

I'm informed 3 Parker shirts have been printed for "Upstairs"...

I think there's no way he'd handle the pressure at a relatively big club.

Potter I mean.

Steve McClaren just gone odds on..top appointment
