Toon, just 2 wins from our last 19 matches
Last 3 PL games all drawn - longest unbeaten run this season Crazy
Scored just 3 in the last 5 games
Have never beaten Brighton in a PL game
Still without key players including top scorer Wilson and St Maximim
Have picked up just 9 points so far in 2021

Brighton

Have picked up 16 points so far on 2021
Awful home record with just 1 home win all season and just 1 in their last 18 overall
Confidence high following away win at rivals Southampton last time

Prediction? Narrow home win?
Given that its 8 years since Newcastle last kept successive clean sheets away from home in the PL then you expect the home team to score at least once and with Joelinton probably leading the Newcastle attack I think the best we can hope for is a draw, I'd snap your hand off in fact.

Murphy a bit unlucky not to start ahead of fraser.

Football by numbers for clueless Bruce.

A point likely to be sum total

Fingers crossed, maybe we will fluke
a diame style winner from somewhere.

Current relegation odds :

Fulham 2.02
Newcastle 2.36
Brighton 10.0

Could be interesting to see how those odds change during the game.

i've laid Brighton in today's game, don't think they should be the strong favourites that they are. mind you, with my form at the moment, that could be bad news for you!

Newcastle 6.6 backed in to 5.9 since teams announced? Very strange as apart from Almiron it was probably the expected line up?

If Newcastle play from the start, like they did when they went a goal behinds against villa last week, then maybe they can win this game.

Sadly, I think that Bruce's job is safe until the end of the season at least. Should have gone months ago imo.
