My simple strategy tonight.

Lumping on Spurs, trading out as soon as they go 1-0 up... or backing the draw if they go 1 down.  Happy  gl people.

COYS.

0-2 FT. It's always a hard luck story for Spurs when they play Liverpool recently.

Ever since Liverpool added a world class midfield player with sublime passing skills......they have looked as toothless and slow as back in the bad old days.

Spurs should be chomping at the bit to thrash them.

On a side note, it was said that when normality returned the fans could and would have a huge celebration for the amazing win if last season .........how on earth do you celebrate when you are on the slide .....it was always a ludicrous suggestion .

U are so right sixtwosix about Thiago, who really needs to step up if Liverpool are to get something from this game.

This game has a real feel of dare not lose about it for both teams if either want a decent shot at top 4.

Yep, I've zero optimism of getting anything here. Salah to score is a certainty. Probably a penalty.

There's simply no point watching football any more - no Liverpool player protested and that simply isn't offside. They are drawing lines on a picture when Ndombele hasn't even completed the pass.

Yup another one for the ever growing book

When the VAR boys are around lock up your goal
By:

Can just imagine how it goes in the VAR box

"its not offside with this line, but if we do some fancy line drawing with the software, move this one, put this one here, take that one we took away and move it here... eh presto bobs your auntie"

And the best part about it... its still not offside
By:

VAR junior boy

"what about the fact he's still not offside?"

VAR senior head boy

"don't matter, simple plot hole easily ignored, we don't have to explain our decisions to anybody, we're the invisible VAR boys"

I dont get why Liverpool are now down to 1.97. Silly price, one which I am unable to take advantage of.

You might ne right about the disallowed goal ....it is slowing down inyo another stalemate with both teams more than content , and loving not having fans tearing into them for strolling around the park.

For the record, the ref in the VAR van is Chris Kavanagh.
