Wolves third lowest goals per game average at home at 2.14, only Sheffield United (2.00) and Burnley (1.83) are lower.

Adama Traore returns to the Wolves starting XI as boss Nuno Espirito Santo makes three changes from the side that lost to Burnley last-time out.

Traore started Wolves' last two games on the bench but comes back in alongside Fabio Silva and Fernando Marcel.

There's four changes for Tottenham from their previous Premier League fixture - the 2-0 defeat to Leicester.

Matt Doherty, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks and Ben Davies all come in.

Tanguy Ndombele missed the Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Stoke in midweek but returns to the first XI.

Kane should do the business as usual, they'd be mid table without him

Spurs won't top the table again this season.  Jose's pre-historic tactics have been rumbled.

I was only joking about them being mid table without him because the reality is they'd buy someone with the funds to replace him.

If a defence sits deep and marks Kane and Son out of the game then Spurs have absolutely no plan B.

Wolves wont sit deep though

But to be quite frank, spurs git away with it last time here, ok wolves was better then, but expect an ugly performance from spurs to win by one goal

Former Tottenham boss Christian Gross has been appointed as Schalke's fourth coach of a miserable season so far.

The 66-year-old, who left Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli in February, arrived at Tottenham in November 1997 but lasted less than 10 months.

Schalke, bottom of the German Bundesliga after 13 games, have already been managed by David Wagner, Manuel Baum and Huub Stevens this season.

I remember Gross attracting ridicule when at Spurs by coming to the ground by the underground.

The goal was officiall timed at 57 seconds, by the way. It's the earliest Premier League goal scored from outside the box since Kenedy netted after 39 seconds for Chelsea v Norwich in March 2016.

Can close the gap by winning the return fixture

7 Portuguese players in Wolves starting line up, don't think I've ever seen so many players from 1 country in a PL team before other than English, their academy mustn't be that good

They don't need an academy with their money and contacts though

We tried using the same contacts but ended up with the rubbish Wolves didn't want Cry

I don't think most of these players are all that, Podence looks average, Neves I think is the best though he was far better in the Championship, Silva I think had only scored 2 goals in his life before the move, though he's 18, did they really need to spend 35 million pounds on a player that didn't seem to be coveted, do they all share the same agent or something, seems fishy

Jorge Mendes is the original super agent. Most famous for representing Cristiano Ronaldo, Mendes’ roster of clients boasts many high profile figures within the game including Jose Mourinho, David de Gea, James Rodriguez, Diego Costa, and Joao Felix. Mendes’ role at Wolves is purely advisory. A known friend and associate of Wolves owners Fosun International, Mendes’ acts as the link between Wolves’ Chinese investors and the European football market. Fosun International also owns a stake in Medes’ sports agency Gestifute. The pipeline of talent this partnership has created has been extremely fruitful for Wolves, with a particular emphasis on players and staff from Portugal.

Even with Jimenez we had the offensive threat of a daddy long legs armed with a tiny feather duster upfront , now it's obviously much worse. A couple of strikers required in January - Silva looks a complete waste of money considering the fee spent. We have too many speedy wingers crossing the ball for a 5 ft 5 Podence operating upfront who has no chance of getting on the end of it
