Not sure where "swashbuckling" came from. That's a word I've never before used in my entire life.

I have only ever seen swashbuckling used in a romanticised view of pirates pursuing their quest.

I just did a search and it's definitely been used previously in the context of football.

I think I recall some of the United teams under SAF being described as playing swashbuckling footie. And indeed (sadly from my perspective) they often were.
