I remember Betfair transferred a lot of their operations in terms of market management (admin) from Ireland (Dublin) to Romania a couple of years ago, there were quite a few posts/threads at time made about poor management, adding markets too late, no extra time markets, wrong times/date that sort of thing, not sure why it's gotten worse now but maybe has something to do with a lack of staff over there because of Covid-19 restrictions, foreign office update on Romania was that new restrictions were put in place on October 20th which included closing of gambling venues (along with theatres and cinemas, plus all schools teaching is now online from home), and that would include their headquarters over there which is in Cluj-napoca, one of the places where the new rules apply.
Maybe reduced staff and access to company technology/facilities is the problem. |

btw, anyone breaching those rules over there are fined up to 2.5k. No Romanian worker is going to risk that.
