Bournemouth v Brentford and Barnsley v Swansea in the playoff 2 legs
Barnsley have a great chance of reaching Wembley |
By:
Another club in free fall late in the season were Bristol City lost their last 5 games and no win in last 10
It can be hard to stop rots like Bristol City and Derby |
By:
Very true Sontaran re Bristol City. I did point out a few months ago how bad we were when somehow in the top half of the table. Winning the first 4 matches proved to be massive over the course of the season. Hopefully the big clear out starts now

You and Derby both going through the same thing I reckon, sonofdunc
Esp Derby who will have new owners, a very different looking squad and set up no doubt If they don't its league 1 for them and this was just a stay of execution, you can't carry on like Derby and survive I think you'll be fine sonofdunc, get rid of the rubbish tat and rebuild quickly you're well off financially |

The absolute state of that ![]() bare in mind they were playing in a playoff final 2 years ago.... |

A Brentford Swansea final
Brentford wont get a better chance than this ![]() |
By:
Fair play to Barnsley they did well this season, they let this one slip Swansea are very workmanlike it has to be said
By:
You are right SS, we wont get a better chance. Yesterday's win against Bournemouth was the most emotional time I have ever had watching Brentford.
The game had everything, Brentford's shambolic defending in the 3rd minute putting us 2 goals behind, a disputed penalty, a sending off and then a fantastic team effort to get us over the line. I cant take much more of this, please Brentford just get it done. |
By:
I'm actually calm when watching Forest in big games (We don't get any but I'm still calm
) because I know we're not winning them ![]() Good luck in the final, clacton, hope you do it this time |
By:
Your boys are about there, clacton
![]() |
By:
Well played Brentford
Swansea never looked like winning it from the first minute |
By:
Gotta back Fulham this season for the title?
Signed decent players and already have a good squad for this league before hand |
By:
Got £45 on Fulham to start with
They've signed Wilson to add to an already impressive looking squad for this league Kept hold of Mitrovic as well which a massive plus |
By:
OP has backed Stoke at 12/1 ? They are 24 on here.
By:
Doh ! Its an old thread...
By:
Yeah that was last season, gonna keep it on this thread though for this season
Fulham and Bournemouth for top 2 for me Parker leaving Fulham for Bournemouth might start making sense looking at their squad this season as well |
By:
backed wba antepost
By:
WBA a good chance
Can't see past the first 4 in the betting, can't see any team competing with the parachute clubs |
By:
iffat sam can do it with them anyone can
By:
QPR for a playoff run for me. I'm with you SS I can't see beyond Fulham and B'mouth.
By:
QPR benefitting from giving Warburton time
I like him when he was here (Forest), never got any time though sadly |
By:
qpr could go well at a price
By:
22 on bf

interesting hank cheers

By:
Unless Rooney can get a siege mentality going its curtains for them they will finish bottom
By:
They still haven't signed anyone and even if they signed 10 players before deadline day I can't see them surviving even
It baffles me they can't find an owner though, good facilities and stadium, good fan base as well |
By:
ive backed them to go down at 1.7
By:
Derbyshire prices has dropped from 5.5 to 2.8 was 4.0 plus 12 hours ago very strange as they can't have signed anyone overnight who can play today. As a Derby fan they have to be a lay at that price
By:
A 1-1 draw is all right and you've signed Stearman and Morrison who are both decent at this level, Stearman is a good professional as well gives 100% an honest player
If you sign Jagielka and 1 or 2 attackers you should be fine in my opinion, nothing spectacular but safe from relegation at least |
By:
good start by luton
By:
I think with the players you've signed it would be better if you had a Mick McCarthy type in charge though, you ain't playing any type of tippy tappy football with those players so best to go for steel and guile
Luton always play good stuff, they will be top half this season in my opinion Preston might be dark horses for relegation |
By:
Mel Morris will still think they can play the old passing style with work horses though
![]() He's not a well man I've heard? |
By:
Luton have signed 8 players and much improved their squad for this season. Far more and better options up front. James Collins moving to Cardiff could be a blessing in disguise, far too static for this league. Top 6 finish would not surprise at all.
As for Preston, the squad does not look good enough and their home form is woeful. Fans could turn on the Manager early. More than just dark horses for relegation. One of the front runners. |
By:
Preston
Peterboro Derby Blackpool Hull Reading Probably be 3 from those 6 relegation |
By:
Maybe add Birmingham but they always seem to avoid the drop and they looked better back end of last season under Bowyer
Hudderfield another |
By:
peterborough have to certs for the drop i would have thought
By:
Right now I'd go
22 Derby (but it depends on them getting 2 or 3 more in, if they do I think they'll survive) 23 Blackpool (Not seen enough of them really so I have no idea) 24 Peterboro Derby replaced by Huddersfield if they get their s*it together Preston might end up in there though |
By:
Coventry, Fulham home wins today, more in hope than confidence.
Coventry/Forest very tough to call. Stuck them in a treble with Hibs. |
By:
We were very good yesterday Sont.
Great to back in the Kenilworth Road End! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() However, WBA away next week will be much much sterner opposition and a better measure of our worth! |
