Welldone Sonts, looking upwards now for Forest rather than down. I would like to see your mob back in the top division once again.

Ours was a decent open game. Millers dominated first half but we made a telling HT sub and dominated the second half.
We had much the best of the chances and therefore just about deserved our win. Having already won at Barnsley and Wednesday and now at Rotherham, I'm beginning to wish all our away games were in Yorkshire! (and maybe our home games as well! ![]() ![]() ) |

Cheers push becoming solid and picking up points, Hughton doing well with a big squad in my oponion
Saw your result mad, nice to see really hopefully you keep it up Top 6 after game 10 1 Reading 2 Swansea 3 Norwich 4 Watford 5 Bournemouth 6 Middlesbrough Bottom 6 after game 10 19 Rotherham 20 Forest 21 Coventry 22 Wycombe 23 Derby (surely Cocu is out soon? ![]() ![]() )24 Sheff Weds (wont be bottom for much longer you'd think, wiped out their deduction yesterday) |

Nice 3 points for us again, going along nicely now, solid defence
![]() ![]() We're looking up not down now thankfully. Pity about the treble, let down by Derby ![]() ![]() ![]() Top 6 after game 11 1 Reading 2 Watford 3 Norwich 4 Bournemouth 5 Bristol City 6 Swansea Bottom 6 after game 11 19 Rotherham 20 Forest 21 Coventry 22 Wycombe 23 Sheff Weds (without the points deduction they'd be top 6 )24 Derby (All the way to the bottom under Coco the clown) Derby really do need to get some reality and know Cocu is useless, just sack him already ffs |

Watford fans moaning a bit about their manager being slightly negative... Derby have scored one goal from open play all season... how the feck is Coco still there

We were slightly the better team in the first haf but they were definitely better than us in the 2nd half.
Happy to get home with a point, although it's always annoying to lose a lead, as we did against your boys as well Sont! |

Afternoon sonts, and all sorry not been on recently Derby are pathetic at the moment on a good day start well, score and then play for a draw! All senior players are back with just 2 youngsters yesterday (arguably our best 2 players) just carrying to many Rooney legs have pretty much gone think ive seen 1 sprint in his last 12 games or so. He came back after covid break and for 5 games played well but can't run since. Lawrence has 5 games a season very much like Tom Ince at this level. Was walking the other night and still got 90 minutes somehow.
Looks like takeover be completed this week and its got to be 75 percent chance Cocu will be gone just assume Morris doesn't want to pay him off himself. Don't know if the oil money have someone lined up personally think Eddie Howe has to be high on any shortlist. Could be a interesting couple of transfer windows ahead. |

Brentford then Watford are by far the best two teams i've seen play against us so far this season
|
|
By:
Kings
Fair play mate, hopefully you turn a corner soon. Cocu needs to go, watched Derby enough under him to know his football is utterly inept in this league. Christ even Rooney wouldn't be a bad appointment after Coco. Mackem, they started like a house on fire but they've just begun to come back to the pack now. Brentford and Watford for me are the best 2 so far, Watford are going about their business nicely at this time of the season, top 2 without really hitting top gear. |

No football this weekend because of the pointless fooking international games

That part was in reply to madhatter, same opinion |

I haven't seen anything special yet.
Watford were solid and haven't extended themselves as yet. Brentford were decent against Boro, but only created 2 good chances at home and they are supposed to be the best attacking team in the division. They also had a dangerous tendency for the keeper to give everything to a close defender. I didn't see anything with Bournemouth to make me think there are a likely promotion team. I haven't seen Norwich yet I will do on November 21st. The relegated teams have big squads with a lot of quality, so they are possibly still finding their feet. Brentford started fairly slowly last season too. The Betfair Exchange has the 3 promoted sides to come from those 4 and bookies have followed. |

SS - Sheff Wed have won 3 and drew 3 games = 12 points (without points deduction) its not top 6 form after 11 games as stated in your post - unless you are been ironic.
|
|
By:
Cocu gone at Derby takeover looks like is going to be confirmed Tuesday or Wednesday. Not heard any serious rumours referencing likely new manager, The names keep coming out are Rooney, John Terry or Paul Cook but feel there will be a more experienced/ bigger name (in management terms) lined up with the new owners believed to have access to the same funds as Man City's owner (they are cousins).
|

By:
For the best that one, kings. He was an absolute disaster and should have gone a month ago.
Paul Cook or Eddie Howe would be your best cases, Howe with money would have you top 2 chasers. Analyst, yeah sorry I've just checked and got a bit confused by their current points total, did they have some of the deduction removed on appeal or something? |
|
By:
Sheffield Wednesday had their 12 point halved a couple of weeks ago.
|
|
By:
12 point deduction*
|
|
By:
Cheers, lovegod
Never noticed it ![]() They'd have been fine anyway in my opinion, decent team when properly motivated |
|
By:
I have always rated Bannon at Sheff Wed - forgetting points reduction the team overall looks mid table to me.
Pulis will probably make them a bit tighter. |
|
By:
Thank god we've got proper football coming back
Championship has been poor for overs but there's something entertaining despite it Internationals are boring as fook |
|
By:
SS
Last Thursday was interesting with the tight NI and Scottish play off games, but agree the rest lacked much interest. Things still going on in the Championship with Pulis coming in and possibly Rooney, during the International break. I am looking at the Barnsley v Forest game. Forest lost at Oakwell in September in the League Cup and the stats showed Barnsley had more chances and probably deserved the 1-0 win. Forest have a new manager now and so do Barnsley - both teams have picked up in their last 2 games. How do you think it will be different this time from the League Cup match? |
|
By:
We've been (Forest) solid analyst, defence has been tightened under Hughton
Wouldn't be shocked if its 0-0/1-0/0-1 and super a bit of a boring game We're much improved under Hughton, Lamouchi was manager back in the League Cup game and we were dreadful both ends of the pitch. |
|

Coventry V Birmingham
Click over 2.5 and hope for the fooking best ![]() |
|
By:
I am not betting on it, but it seems like a home game for Brum - possibly a touch of value on them @ 2.60
I expect Brum to finish above Coventry come the end of the season. AK brought in alot of new players @ Brum I was expecting them to click a bit more than they have done so far. |
|
By:
Yup seems another bore fest
|
|
By:
the whole league is a borefest.....
overs should be 5.0 min in every game |
|
By:
Its been awful for goals so far this season knox
Surely has to turn at some point |
|
By:
not sure if it will
most teams very defensive plus a huge lack of quality strikers this season |
|
By:
It is very defensive so far, some attacking teams but some are really bad
Derby under Rooney/Rosenior might be a bit more advantageous |
|
By:
will be interesting to see how derby fare
13 points off top six |
