At best I can only see another two goals in this, and that's being really optimistic!  So I am going to give it a little go.  55 mins entry point for over 2.5, take my stake out and hope there is a third goal. Cut my losses at 70 mins if no goal is scored.

Interesting. What does that cost, on average?

I'm thinking out loud here... max 50% loss?

It's on average 40%-50% loss yes. It sounds a lot, but so far at least it's worked for me.  It's something I have only started doing the past few weeks on a regular basis.  I am definitely in profit overall with that method.  But it can be frustrating when the final goal you need to bring home the bacon don't come.  Then you have sat and watched a game and got nothing out of it Angry

No it isn't a lot if you're rigid with it because you will get winners too. Good luck with it. I'm currently doing a system (paper-based) that caught my eye. Monday I would have broke even. Tuesday 10x stake profit and today, so far, 4x stake profit... still too early to determine but looks interesting so far.

Thanks.  I sometimes do it slightly different, split my stake in half.  Put half on at 55mins, and the other half at 65 mins, obviously more profitable. You have to stick with it and get out on 70 mins, and not think I will just wait a bit longer because I know the goal will come...it rarely does!  Your system sounds interesting and sounds like you could be on to something.  I hope it works out the way you hoped Happy

If I had £10 for every system I've tried to develop I wouldn't have a mortgage anymore Laugh ...but one can dream.

As for "it rarely does" - I've learned that down the years!

I've tried asking Alexa but that system didn't work either

I think that if you're betting overs for trading, you have to bet in stages to get the best odds as they drift.

So I did something slightly different than planned.  Split my stake in 3.  entering at 55mins, 60mins, and 65 mins.  cashing out at 70 mins.  Loss is 32.9%
By:

At those times prices are starting to run. Good luck with that takes all.

32.9% That's not terrible at all, especially considering the gains you could have made or will make from time to time. Fingers crossed the long-term equals the short-term, or better!

Yes they are starting to run away quite quickly.  That's why you must get out at 70 mins.

Thanks Aspro. 7 and a half minutes since I got out, odds almost doubled.  I would be in a world of hurt right now if I had stayed in Laugh

Even with that goal just scored, I doubt I would have seen much/if any profit.

I had go at playing with overs, obviously wasn't doing it right. I liked to be out before H/T. Sometimes you can have a saver on lower overs because eventually those silly short prices that you couldn't take at K/O become backable but you still need to pull one off.

Everyone has certain markets they prefer.  I cant stand unders, I pick games that on paper should be 1 or 2 goals, and end up with five!  Laugh

I suppose with whatever you play, the hope is to be on the green side. And the dream lives.

Goals are my ruin, but I love them! Hence why I only toy with them for small stakes these days... I've learned! You're right to leave them alone ericster

I'm trying to play/trade in the match mkt but I have very tight parameters.
By:
Aspro
When: 09 Sep 20 15:06
My main two systems are singles only, match odds only. Most weeks I usually find one or two, but as previously pointed out, on one of them it is three weeks now, but that is not unusual pre-season

And so, we have to be patient. Used to play the nags, was a real form anorak, would spend time trying to pick a selection to pieces before backing, but, as with this lark, the good bets scream out to be backed, they jump out at you, well that's my experience, so the trick is wait for those screamers.

Jinx? Lol! It's the kiss of death.Angry
By:

Precisely... I name my systems and the two aforementioned are called Patience A & S. They are the ones that (as you say) jump out at you

A big part of my plan depends on the S/Ps, I like to think that I am getting a feel for how my kind of market may or may not react to certain developments, but it's early days.

Good morning gentlemen. My daughter has just phoned and is popping in for a spot of lunch so doubt I'll be on these today. Good luck if you choose to play.
