the lesson here is, always put a suit on for a final

I like the way that the artificial crowd noise is booing the 4 minutes added.

I had to go out of the original market then click on promotion, then on Brentford v fulham, and it was there.
By:
Well done Fulham a bit boring with them winning but credit where it due they deserved it on the night
By:
call me a cynic but I see fulham on their knees next season
By:
scott parker better win % than lampard at derby and he hasn't choked a final twice
By:
Parker had a better team than Lampards Derby though
He's done his job getting them up but that squad should be getting up easier than that in my opinion |
By:
they've got a 70% chance of being relegated next season, enjoy it fulham fans
By:
took your advice moisok
cheers buddy |
By:
I thought Brentford might bottle it, tbh.
By:
Well done Scott Parker. Kept his head and composure and got the job done. How do you get a trophy though for finishing third
By:
Probably because they didn't finish third

They're a good club Brentford and should be proud of their club and how it operates
Top 5 in the country for me when it comes to how a club should conduct itself and the style of play to boot, not to be tonight but they are going places if they stick with their methods |
By:
I feel sorry for the owner Matthew Benham. We would probably be in League 2 without him.
Soon be a new season starting so we go again. |
By:
unlucky claton, feel for you, you must be gutted, any consolation the teams coming down don't look particularly strong so Brentford should be well back in the fight for promotion next year.
By:
Ive been through all this for years, but this was for the biggest prize. 9 times in the playoffs and everyone ended in tears.
Brentford innit. Still, Brentford v Wycombe dont sound too bad. ![]() |
By:
just been trying to find out Brentfords history through the years but it's absolutely impossible to decipher because of the stupid names given to the leagues through the years chopping and changing ... second division, league one ,two, championship, sherpa vans league ,milky bar kid division .... just give the leagues one wholesale fooken name 1,2,3 4 and be done with

By:
wow 9 losses in the play offs, that must be a English football record!
By:
well ,better to be near the top of your league than (possibly) struggling in the top league clacton i guess ...but the money would've been nice ... trouble with teams like brentford going up is they tend to get found out more in the EPL than the dig in and defend at all costs teams who tend to do well ,although Wolves proved us all wrong that time

By:
hopefully you will get better and better and keep those top players
By:
As an Exeter fan we are on a % of future fee so definitely hoping Olly moves on for big money

Keeping the better players is going to be difficult now for Brentford. The front 3 will all get offers from the prem that they will not nee able to turn down especially in the current climate. I see a long hard slog for Brentford next season. At the end of the day they had promotion in their hands on a couple of occasions and weren't good enough to take those opportunities.
By:
did that final not prove that none of that front three are good enough for the premier league? most of them didn't have a kick against fulham
By:
The front 3 are decent and could play in the prem imo. Always doubted if the rest of the squad were good enough. Fulham the only side who outplayed us this season and thought they were good enough to go up. Will be hard for Brentford to resist offers.
