Handball rule is being changed for next season, you'll be hearing all about the t-shirt line.

Offside offence
A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by: interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate or interfering with an opponent by: preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or challenging an opponent for the ball or clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball |

Ancelloti sent off, it's all happening
By:
DeGea was not getting that if the player was there or not
By:
over 0.5 red cards in
By:
Comical shyte as usual
By:
yellows only count if on field of play , he could be considered being on unlawfully Im not sure
its why he got card , but was on field at time soon find out ![]() |
By:
interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate or
interfering with an opponent by: he didn't do either of those things IMO. he got out of the way of the ball and he didn't stop de gea from getting the ball. WRONG CALL IMO |
By:
By:
dea was wrong footed by the deflection, the everton player made no difference there, he wasnt getting that.
By:
Var dont know the rules....just another dudes opinion basically....
Wrong call again. |
By:
DID HE CLEARLY OBSTRUCT DE GEA's LINE OF VISION THO? I'd say no
i think if richarlison wasn't on the ground there the ball still goes in so imo it should have stood |
By:
typical VAR when on overs...ffs
By:
it is a bit of a grey area tho so it's not absolutely scandalous
By:
on 2.5 shudda traded out , that Just adds to the Woe , its becomming pointless betting on the premier ,week in week out strange decisions
By:
If hes not there it's still a goal.....and not ruled out,if he touches it rule it out....
By:
Everton traded at 10 on ?? Did they not , after the goal
By:
That was an easy VAR overturn decision, De Gea can easily argue that without the player sat there he'd be able to react better to the deflection, straightforward overturn that one.
By:
What's the point in red carding managers? Especially after the game has finished. Is it just so that pompous officials can make coaches jump through some more hoops, making themselves feel important?

By:
a goalie who 90 mins earlier couldn't kick a ball away in 10 seconds couldn't argue any fooooking thing,
![]() ![]() |
By:
so I am guessing all bets were voided, when betting after market was opened during the var ?
By:
The point is ,is that cit is Killing the game Celebrating a goal is Pointless ,when you have to wait for a decision
By:
They will be.
By:
They should be Sports Obviously when people seen the Money on everton and 2.5 closed they would think a GOAL
By:
a goalie who 5 secs earlier kept his team in it could though.
By:
No goalie who ever lived was getting to that
By:
Football's rule-makers are to review the offside law in order to "foster the spirit of attacking play".
The decision was made at the annual general meeting of The International Football Association Board (Ifab). On VAR, Infantino said that people "need to relax", adding that "there is only one league in the world today where this issue seems to be a big problem". |

By:
Keane saying Gylfi shouldn't be sitting there ?
How the fk could he have got back onside |
By:
When a player scores I’m just waiting for him not to celebrate but to just stand there waiting for the goal to be be chalked off fans should also not bother cheering until v.a,r, has given the goal
By:
thanks for the answer. You never know, the might not void but I doubt it lol. Should have been a goal I think.
By:
what I don't understand is a goal was scored,so what were the reff/lino/man utd players/goalie doing wetting themselves getting all excited flag waving ,running around, etc as a goal was scored var takes over and it has foooook all to do with anyone at the ground
By:
B.leverkusen should have had a pen last few minutes ref did not even check v.a.r total joke that’s killing the game
By:
There is little doubt that the laws of the game are badly understood within the general population, including tv pundits.
The laws contain grey areas, with guidance given to officials as to how they should interpret the laws and navigate these grey areas. For every VAR decision between now and the end of the season, the EPL should release a written explanation as to how they arrived at the decision they did. Would create a lot of heated debate, but would at least be part of a badly needed process of education. |
By:
if de gea,s view was blocked why was he diving the right way before the deflection
, bit of a giveaway that his view wasnt blocked, ![]() |
By:
Yessss Celtic score and no bloody v.a.r to worry about
