Seems pretty straightforward to me. Of course he would want to manage Liverpool one day. Rangers know this and not a problem for them. Doing a pretty good job with them as well. I would think it fair to say that if any good, no manager is safe from moving from the SPL.
|
|
By:
The longer Klopp stays the better, and when he does if SG cuts it as a manager which only time will tell. Would fully expect him to manage a championship or premiership time in between to. He needs experience at different levels. He's improved Rangers already, players work hard for him
|
|
By:
So its ok to basically tell everyone this is only a stepping stone but expect his players to play for the jersey at the same time. It really is hilarious. One long conga line.
|
|
By:
Kind of get your point MJK, but if any good, any time with a good manager is better than none. Blimey, like any of the players give a fook these days about loyalty themselves. He done very well so far and doesn't seem to have a problem getting effort from the players.
|
|
By:
Hes not won a solitary thing....nothing.
And utterly imploded 2 years on trot. Please stop linking him with LFC job. Please.... A million miles away from ready.currently. |
|
By:
He will always be linked with Liverpool jedi and rightly so imo. If one day he has earned the right to manage, then great. That is certainly not now but who knows what the future holds??
|
|
By:
I wouldn't object if another five years down the road hes stopped Celtic then gone to Prem and proved can cut it somewhat there too.
The Lampard,Ole, Arteta appointments to my mind are a huge huge risk, and yet to be looked upon as a success, far from it actually. |
|
By:
Totally agree but Klopp ain't going nowhere yet. Let's see how the next few years pan out.
|
|
By:
Lampard has done a decent enough job at Chelski, I do stand corrected on him as I thought he'd be a disaster but he's got a bunch of kids chasing top 4 and into the knockouts of the CL
Gerrard is in the same bracket as that, I think he'd do well with Liverpool but Klopp isn't leaving any time soon unless they implode |

Stevie G doing absolutely fantastic with Rangers. Celtic hold all the cards in an otherwise pub league year on year apart from these two, and yet Rangers are mentioned in the same breath as Celtic.
I for one would love club legend Stevie G to return to Anfield in some capacity in the future. It's obviously his dream and I am certain he will be back down here again one day. |
|

Absolutely fantastic?

12 points behind,zero trophies,spent a relative fortune....

Celtic hold all the cards. Stevie G is doing absolutely fantastic with his Rangers Revolution.
I for one, would love to see the Liverpool legend back at Anfield in some capacity in the future. Like all true fans of our great club. |
|
By:
Lol.
Quite happy with Jurgen thanks, the longer the better. |
|
By:
Stevie G has done Lfc a few favours in fairness.
7m for Kent beyond belief. Ejaria and Ojo loan fees also. Neither of those or Kent anywhere close to good enough for Lfc. |
|
By:
Klopp is here for the long haul Soph.
That LFC fans want our legend, Stevie G, back at our club in some capacity sometime in the future, but u do not, speaks volumes. |
|
By:
I dont want him back as manager until hes proven up to the job.....nothing hes doing at Rangers suggests he is, nothing.that's why you've gone quiet on that particular subject recently.
Hes already been back in some capacity. And left to take up his current post. Be ecstatic if came back and was given the job on merit. Not playing career. |
|
By:
As I have repeated often before. Celtic hold all the cards. Stevie G is doing amazingly well with his Rangers Revolution and for his team to be mentioned in the same breath as Celtic.
FWIW, even though he has cut his teeth as a manager, IMVHO Stevie G will clearly not come back to replace Klopp. He will be integrated back in at the club in a support role, or manager of one of the junior teams, and in time maybe even an assistant to Klopp. Who knows how he will develop, maybe he will succeed maybe he will not. |
|
By:
Yes you have repeated, many times, its just not true.....
If you understood football you would understand this,2nd in Scotkand is nowhere. Hope that helps. |
|
By:
That's my point in a nutshell. In Scotland, no other team has a chance as Celtic hold all the cards and have all their built in advantages that they have enjoyed for the last 10+ years. And that is someone who went to Celtic park with friends when I lived in Scotland.
That Stevie G and his Rangers team are now starting to being in a position to even begin competing with Celtic speaks volumes. Why am I am not surprised that u are unable to see and understand this? |
|
By:
Understand your last statement in which everything you say is utter nonsense?
All the cards? Built in advantages? Position to compete? Good evening all,no inclination to get in to a repetitive borefest with you of all people... |

It is not possible to try and educate a troll such as yourself sophie.
At least tonite u are being a good girl and are not going into detail about what u like to get up to with dildos. We all know why the moderators decided to suspend u the first time for 4 months. Care to divulge to us all why the moderators suspended u for a second time? U must be skating on very thin ice. |

jury is out on stevie g
I like the man , passionate , honest and respected throughout game first job in management tho and there to be judged like anyone else made mistakes imo celebration after beating them wasn't wise , motivated them even more and save it for when we actually win something tends to stick to his own players , while good players like Ross McCrorie , Docherty and Murphy not given a chance needs to stop publicly shaming players , effects them and become targets for online idiots needs to get a bit more winning exp into side , most done nothing in game yet and struggling to cope with pressure of stopping 10 I say stick with him tho , played some of best football ive seen in 20 years there , marching on in Europe , tho that's probably a happy escape from title pressure tbh I can see recently mans starting to realise how hard management is , rushed the new style of play should have built from back and taken time to implement style I feel the squad is there to do it , great players when it clicks just need to re group and start again , this title is gone it needs to be about preparing for next year imo from right now its coming home , will be next year tho confidence has to build again |

As I have mentioned earlier. It is not possible to educate a troll such as sophie.
She is just not capable of listening to anything but her own twisted view of reality, let alone understanding anyone else's view point...................... |

Nice post Hello..
Some very good points. Over the top celebrations at Parkhead biggest mistake imo.. Repeating Dubai prep when went terribly after break last year also an error. Has his favourites, not quick enough to change. Been very well backed, and clearly miles better than when took over, but nothing in cupboard considering spend, and no closer in reality. |
|
By:
hello, were you the manager of Barcelona in a previous life, you seem very knowledgeable, not. i've never read so much pish in all my life, along with sophie's contributions. cheers.

Stevie lad couldn't tie Klopp's boots. Maybe ten years down the line but if Klopp goes there will be plenty names in the hat and Stevie lad will be at the bottom. (nap)
|
|
By:
Celtic was just a stepping stone to Leicester for Rodgers, so it's no surprise Stevie G has similar thoughts.
If he fills the trophy cabinet at Rangers then he should be able to make the step up with his next job, a Conference team/bottom half of League Two. |
|
By:
it may well be pish bairn we can all be wrong sometimes , but at least its a contribution to a debate
rather better than popping on spewing bile and offering nothing |

I an only assume your like many Falkirk Fans, a Rangers Fan.? Thanks for the insightful post whatever the case may be. Push misreads most things, hes an imbecile! A fantasist! A common liar! Oh and a little grass! tell tale! Mentions Dildos a lot which is actually quite concerning when next post he discusses his NEW girlfriend bla bla bla. Maybe not up to the job! ![]() |
