every game should be live like this, crowds wouldn't go down, give us access to our own league

how many people would pay £40 a month for every game live like this? a lot i would assume, and it wouldn't necessarily be such an incentive for people who go to the games to stop going like say £7.99 a month could be

it all means more revenue for the EPL. madness to think that they don't do something like this with the fan base they have in the UK

Tiresome that every media company that gets football rights immediately goes out and signs the pundits from the other channels.

It's such an archaic myth that 'people won't go to the games' if they are on TV. There was no live football in the early 80s and attendance was an all time low.

I backed Palace early on, took the loss after the sending off, but couldn't help myself and went back in laying the draw.
Would likely have been better for me if Bournemouth had scored but bailed out for a small win.

if it was really cheap then some people might think i can watch the games not only cheaper but in the comfort of my own home, keeping it relatively high would stop lots of people doing that if that is indeed the fear, otherwise there's no reason not to, why would the premier league punish its uk viewership who want to be able to watch a game without illegally streaming it. it makes better business sense to open something up where it's a monthly or a yearly sub and you can watch every single game, like the nfl does, like the nba does. simon jordan has been talking about this recently, the netflix of football. the premier league needs it

they must have worked out that it's better for business if they sell a portion of games at a premium to BT or sky .. that's the only reason, keep a premium product at a higher price

There is an argument for the EPL teams to allow fans in for free or next to nothing given the tv money they rake in.
Get a full house, and rake it in from food and drink sales instead.

It's scary to think come season end neither of these 2 will be in relegation bother yep that's all you need to know about standards in the EPL. 2 good teams and a long tail.

if it ain't broke don't fix it. people are willing to pay for it

The path that they could end up going down is each club selling their own tv rights.
That would be bad news for the "smaller" clubs, the rich clubs would stretch even further ahead.

Radio 5 live are absolutely raving about the Jesus goal. A good goal, but not that good! A simple inside of the foot curler that any player should be abe to do, if given that much time on the ball.

Annoying for Amazon that they couldn't have the United V Spurs game tonight and then Liverpool V Everton tomorrow. Even with the staggered kick offs there is still a clash. May as well do 6:30 and 8:30 kick offs.

let's be honest this is probably more of a marketing thing for amazon than anything else. they've already said it will be a loss leader they just want more people to subscribe to prime

#AmazonPrimeVideo is trending right now, it's all over the BBC website, marketing

It's an experiment but they already have men's tennis and will also have women's next year.
World domination beckons.
