Are Celtic a bit of a lump on job at the prices (bigger than 1.6 available)?
Cluj were knocked out by a Luxembourg club last year, scraped past poor opposition recent. Surely Celtic take this one at home.
Would expect more like 1.45-1.48 kind of range for the home win personally here.

If finishes 0-0 FT, then CELTIC on to next round.
This is something that made me hesitate on what bet to chose. However, they are such an attacking side that with their huge support they probably will need to attack to please the crowd. CLUJ a few years ago gave ROMA a tough match, from memory, so I suspect they may well score a goal tonight ! Taking a chance on OVER 1.5 and OVER 2.5 , with cover back bets on 2-0 and 1-1 for the OVER2.5. My guess on final score is 2-1 or 2-0 CELTIC. GL with bets. |

Personally would have thought they wouldn't want to sit on 0-0 in case of the fluke away goal nobbling them, though I do take the point that it would get them through.
Settled on a mid-size punt at the prices, rather than anything larger taking all factors into account. |

Surely what happened a few years ago has no bearing on the game tonight! Be lucky if 1/3 of the starting line up is the same if any Celtic to win comfortably on the basis theyre a far better side, especially at home. |

Yep, last year's form (loss in this comp) was awful in europe, and this years very moderate in just getting past sides some level below Celtic.

Nothing's ever completely certain in these kind of early europe games, but I'd still expect a lot shorter.

JD......I know it was a while ago, but they have qualified for GROUP stage a few times and all I am saying is do not underrate them when they play AWAY!

Fair enough....just hope CELTIC play a positive game......if they don't CLUJ might well score 1 tonight.
The fullback transferred is quite a big loss for CELTIC.....CLUJ might try to exploit the change! GL....CELTIC likely to WIN though. |

Got rid of the OVER 1.5 back......as have 0-2 and 1-1 covered.
Looks like CELTIC forwards are playing like school bhoys! Just not clinical enough. However I expect CELTIC will really up pace and get at least 1 goal.......Always a danger from Romanians on the break....at least should be a good 2nd Half. Still believe CELTIC will get at least 1-1 score by FT.....and the 2-1 guess might still happen if they go full out 2nd half. |
