Yes, get rid of VAR, imo. Play acting is getting ridiculous as it is, but VAR is making it worse.

is this Barca's year or will they be another galactico to fall by the wayside?
Simeone too much of a negative c*nt for me but when they put their mind to it as well as being solid at the back they can be no mugs up front as well..Atleti no mugs |

agreed johnny, think the trophies staying in spain, only challenger is juve who were given the runaround second half v atleti

I dont think VAR is as big a problem as the penalty laws in the game currently. You can virtually be sure if VAR flags up a potential pen its given with the world cup last summer resembling a handball contest instead of a football match. That said, even when VAR is used to see if the ball crosses the line like in the Madrid match yesterday they get it wrong

I don't think Juve will get past Atletico.

Atletico won't give up a tow goal lead. No chance.

More clarity in the rules, especially ofside, is what's needed. There's too much tinkering with the Laws, nobody is sure about what they are any more.

offside has cost me a packet in lost overs..really p1sses me off..some are defo NOT offside as well

gotta be the most wide open looking competition in many a long year. city haven't done enough to justify being such a short price and far from vintage barca side. could almost throw blanket over the rest of the field
|

It was never a pen BTW for United , it was blasted at his hand like a bullet from a gun- how the hell has he chance to move his arm

^ this was the deciion i refer to
shocking |

All teams are sh*t these days, the two teams that are head and shoulders above are CITY and Atl Madrid who agrees ?
|
|
By:
city are a great side, but their defence will be tested by someone in this
|
|
By:
City v Atl would be a great match an yea romm their defence might be leaky, let's hope we get some quality games to watch, juve could pull summin out the bag, all on the day
|
|
By:
Barca obviously as well
|
|
By:
If pool can get through then 4 of our sides are in quarters might be our year
|
|
By:
Atletico will keep it tight. Can't see them giving up a two goal lead. But then again I thought PSG were certainties to qualify.

hardly seen atlet, but a few on here mention them yep
|
|
By:
I dont believe in having second teams but if I had one it would be Atletico. Atletico are easily capable of winning the whole thing which would be long overdue.

barca top cheese this year imo, one of the reasons theyve looked 'off' in some games is because nobody is remotely close to them and they are barely lifted a finger.
the last lyon game was a good example of this, something like 70% possession away from home, 25 shots on goal to 4, they came off the park barely breathing or looking like theyd been in a football game. its possible somebody could catch them cold i guess, complacency is a killer |

all Manchester final,
unless they meet before then! That would be fun. |
