It'll be better later in the season when the CL is done. Also, LAFC v Portland later is too fresh teams who have rested since last weekend

3-2 to LA FC sounds about right

whats happening it the USA is the same as the league of Ireland, one week the refs lets the games flow and there are loads of goals, and then the next week the refs are whistle happy and stop the games for minor things resulting in drab stop/ start games.
the refs decide before the games either to let play flow or not. They are more concerned about their own performance than what sort of game it will be.(thats what i think)

it does seem to go that way brass, its been bad in the mls in the past with the overuse of VAR but even though theyve cleaned that up a bit it still feels like the refs got too much say in the outcomes

not that you can blame the ref, theres a real motivation problem for a lot of these sides, which i put down to very poor coaching and the general atmosphere of the setup in that it sometimes doesnt feel like a real competition, games can often descend into glorified friendlies.

i find that if you get to know the refs,it can help  you to make a decision about goals been scored or not.dosent always work out but some refs are very fussy and are whistle happy.Wink

its one of the many reason inplay betting will always trump pre match betting, you get so much more information in the first few minutes than 100% of people guess on before the start

perhaps getting stats on refs might be a better option.Shocked
i do notice that if a real bad injury happens in a game the remainder of game usually is played out at slow pace with no more goals.
and if there is crowd trouble ,games have a high percentage of results ending in draws.
as i say clacher, perhaps we look at the wrong stats, and a referees name might be more important than a team with 3 house hold famous names in the forward line,"if you know what i mean"Wink

the 4.5 price has been pretty low all game but then you can understand why with the sides involved.

both can score, both always give it a real go, just needed an early breakthrough and it came

why is it some teams go into games just chucking it in?

la galaxy last night were a perfect example, nobody who has ever seen a football game could say they went there to do anything besides lose, they didnt even try to dig out what wouldve been a good away point

lots of home wins in the MLS, that's the way it is. the travel takes it out of the away side

total opposite of la last night was minners, who ran sj off the park. seems a real lottery but then i guess we knew that already
