Champions League is back.

Morning prices:

Barcelona 1.13 - 12.5 - 29 PSV
Inter 2.76 - 3.35 - 2.98 Tottenham

Club Brugge 4.4 - 3.9 - 1.93 Dortmund
Crvena Zvezda 7 - 4.1 - 1.63 Napoli
Galatasaray 1.74 - 3.85 - 6 Lokomotiv
Liverpool 2.14 - 3.9 - 3.65 PSG
Monaco 5.5 - 3.55 - 1.86 Atletico Madrid
Schalke 2.56 - 3.35 - 3.2 Porto

Strongly fancied Spurs to do over Inter after the draw was done, but recent form is very off putting where they've looked poo. Inter haven't looked good recently at all either though, and generally are living off reputation in media's minds, tough one to call though as odds probably suggest now.

Atletico Madrid have started the season very poorly after what was imo a great transfer window for them, they haven't got going at all yet. They have been slow starters in the past too, but I couldn't get involved in this. This price is the same price they were away to Celta Vigo a few weeks ago and I'd have Monaco as (narrowly) better than them. In theory you'd say home advantage is worth more in Europe too, though in reality I imagine it varies place to place and Monaco is quite literally the least intimidating away day in Europe. Monaco's recent form also is not inspiring.

Liverpool vs PSG definitely match of the day. Tend to think anything could happen here. You've got 2 front 3s with bags of goals in them. Would tend to side with PSG at these prices, but it's not going to be surprising whatever happens here, could see either team running riot on their day as both are capable of piling in quick goals.

From the rest, Galatasaray's price looks particularly bad.

Took all of 30 secs to decide on a little card punt for tonight... No time for a proper dig which is a shame coz they always make a few mistakes in the Champs League early doors inho.

Trent Alexander-Arnold @11/4 with Paddyshower & Sportsbook.

He's up against Mbappe tonight, he's already picked up 3 yellows from 5 for Liverpool this season. Solid but unspectacular shout. Gl with your own calls.

Looks a tricky set of CL fixtures this evening. Am hugely pi$$ed off with Spurs and their 6:00pm KO. THat's OUR slot, albeit on, ahem, a Thursday evening.

southend reserves v peterborough reserves kicks off in 15 mins.  total matched £12
do betfair not think they might get more than £12 matched on a variety of barcelona/liverpool/spurs acca markets ?

or is there an ulterior motive ...

Agree, a tough set of fixtures with nothing screaming out at me.  Normally I'd be laying Inter (when was the last time they were a CL side?) but something isn't right with Spuds just now, so think I'll swerve it.

I've taken a boring /safe-looking double on Over 2.5 (Barcs v PSV) and over 1.5 (Liv v PSG)

Really looking forward to the Liverpool match, tho. Fully expecting a feast of attacking football. Liverpool's new found solid defence should be severely tested tonight.

Inter spurs hard to call think spurs more suited to this contest than the weekend but given spurs keeper looks like he could have a nightmare I’d take inter to win  by maybe between two or four

inter were 3.0 yesterday, so lots of punters backing them. A smallish bet on Inter for me. Liverpool v PSG has to be goals, so backing over 3.5. I can see a 2-2 or 3-2 either way.

I feel like Inter's best chances to break Spurs down come Spurs' mistakes at the back, it's when they intercept the ball they look like they might do something.
