ok well ive got £72.26 off them last 2 settled bets. so might start with £50 again an see how i get on
By:
yeh i get what you mean, but seems to take forever that way if all your staking is the odd £10 or so on games, especially with the odds i bet on that will only win less that a couple of quid each time.
Hey i will give it a shot.... i could be here a while. if im going off track tho Gib, please tell me ![]() |
By:
£35.54 back tomorrow with bet 26.
By:
so first 5-10 bets all in?
By:
takes for ages at £10 , I agree ....but if your impatience start with £1000 ! .....but I think if its going to work ..its going to work whatever the stakes ..so why risk a £1000 , when you do the same with £10 ...you just wish to prove its possible , ....so have patience , build your bank ..my mate is always telling me , effort in = reward out ..i.e put some effort into it to get rewards worth out
By:
yh agreed it works whatever the stakes it just takes alot longer with smaller stakes thats all, but less risk also. like you say if you do it right and have some patience and discipline you will reap the rewards.

ok here goes bet 1. Paysandu 1-1 Criciuma 74 mins - under 3.5 goals £50 @ 1.11
see where we can get with a little disciplinary help ![]() |

if you ever deal in stocks and shares , the 1st think you need to work out is your stock gain and stock loss , .i.e once you have decided your stake , know at the same time of bet what you are prepared to green at and what to red at ....if you don't , you become greedy and make mistakes ....example , if you buy at say £1 and it goes to £2 , do you sell or keep it thinking you may get more ? ..or if you buy at £1 and it dips to 90p , do you get out , or do you wait to see if you can get out without loss
By:
that's why betting on shares you are called a trader , not a gambler
By:
example 1 , if you dont sell when you have made a decent profit , you never wish to sell , so dont draw winnings , example 2 if you dont have stop loss , you run the gamble of losing the lot , if you have a staking plan , you don't have to be confused with these choices

Bet 2. Paysandu 1-1 Criciuma 74 mins - AJ win £55.23 @ 1.40
By:
very true Gib i guess it all about limiting losses and taking profits.
By:
try again ...
Bet 2. Anthony Joshua v Alexander Povetkin round 4 - AJ win £55.23 @ 1.40 |
By:
yeah i call it greed
i need to get that under control and see the bigger picture. |
By:
most people who go to a casino will be up at one point in the night , but because they haven't set themselves a stock gain target , keep on gambling thinking they could win more , once they start losing don't set themselves a stock loss , so lose the lot ...no consolation saying I had a good run
By:
AJ wins wd
By:
very true gib, you talk alot of sense. Seems easy in theory but hard to keep myself in check sometimes when placing the bets. i will TRY and keep a staking plan going and not bet full stakes after 10 or so bets
By:
yeah upto £76.24 now off 2 bets. im going to call it a night an have another go tomorrow. see if i can start to build it up again slowly. Cheers for the advice Gib, hope i can keep my head abit more and make something from it.
Good luck with your bets folks |
By:
your right its easy in theory ..that's the easy part , discipline is very hard , but hardest of all is picking winning selections ...and you are good at that ...so ought to make money
By:
thinking about it more , part reason you got so far in the time you did , was you didn't consider losing , wasn't afraid to lose , so you had courage and were brave ..wouldnt want to lose the bravery as if you do think about it too much about you can become to scared to bet at all , its not a easy balance to achieve ,
