Tez , I don't mean to be clever , esp. as I m not doing great atm , but the reason you keep coming back and trying again is because you have ability to pick winners and know you are capable to earn doing this , ..but if you keep staking 100% of your bank , its only a matter of time until freak result gets you ,..if you don't lose the lot , you are still in the game

yeh true, but i would like to try and do the original challenge, i know its cheating abit laying them but its till all in, and i do believe it can be done, maybe not by me but someone on here will do it one day.
Maybe i will have a crack at starting with a small stake and not going all in like you Gib and see if i can build a pot up that way. |

I don't think I have all the answers , of course not as I wouldn't be still trying , but its sensible to green out like you did , if its not worth staying in , that's not cheating , that's smart , ..I don't believe anyone is capable to geta 300 fold acc up , hard enough to get a 4 fold up ! ...its compelling change as from low start compounding , bank can grow quick , but doesn't work all in , therefore it comes down to staking ...well that's what I think for what its worth

yh i believe you are right, the answer to making money from betting is down to staking, finding "value" and discipline id say. i do think it can be done but its very difficult.
I will have a go at starting with a small bank and trying to build it up with varying stake amounts and see how i get on. Probably wont be very far |

ok you need a bit of luck at the start , to build a bank , so understand 1st few bets to get somewhere , but once you have made progress , its such a shame to lose everything in one go , to wipe out all those good bets you made , I agree its not easy , but with discipline , little luck and sensible staking , I think the same ..it can be done

I suppose I have to start by saying I'm not knocking what you do and wish you all well.
I'm (still) curious though as to why you think you will win in the long term? If you believe the market is efficient then any number of random bets over the long term will break even (or lose after commission). To win long term I'd think you either need to outsmart the market by assessing it better which could be at anytime especially if there's an over-reaction to an event such as a goal. With the sheer number of bets you're placing I can't see how you are doing this. Good luck anyway. |

I’ve seen guys complete challenges like this, I think the best I’ve seen is a guy who started with £10 and got 420+ winning bets @ 1.01. I’ve seen several people get over 100+. Tez didn’t Kiri from the old thread get up to £1500 from £50?

Yes Almight Kiri got to something like that, he did very well. My personal best on here was around £1700 from £10. ive also seen on a webpage somewhere a russian guy complete £10 to over £10,000. it was a little difficult to follow as it was all in russian. but i was assured it was all legit
