Derby have looked much better under Lampard/Morris according to my Derby supporting mate
Rowett was so boring he didn't even renew his season ticket (thought he'd still there) lol, he's not bought another season ticket but has been to watch them in both home pre season games and said it was a breath of fresh air, slick passing, high pressing etc, not sure if they can sustain that over a season though? I remember both our play off seasons under Billy Davies being similar, we'd be great for the first half of the season but fade away through sheer tiredness. Reading have looked woeful apparently, but it is the first game and I've take a punt on Reading pulling of a shock win. Sunderland last season beat Derby 4-1 at their place so anything can happen But it might be worth watching Derby tonight just to see how improved they are (style wise) |
By:
Stoke fans are starting to moan about the lack of threat up top, so it must be rowetts style rather than the players he has.
Who uses Vydra as a battering ram? the lad is like 5ft and weighs 10 stone wet threw |

Sonko
You think clement is the right man? Derby fans said he's dull as dish water and his style of football is the same as him as well ![]() He also brags about having signed Ronaldo memorabilia ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Got to give a chance but he does play slow tempo dull football, and he does come across as a fanboy.

Whats the best bets tonight lads I am going for derby and over 2.5 booms
By:
I guess we get an hour of sky fawning over lumplard.

Reading | Mannone, Yiadom, Richards, McShane (c), Ilori, Meyler, Kelly, Swift, Aluko, Barrow, Böðvarsson.
Subs: Walker, O’Shea, Bacuna, Baldock, Meite, Clement, McNulty. |

By:
Looking forward to seeing Harry Wilson play think he's got great potential and could be a bet to score anytime maybe even fgs maybe s hat trick

Reading to win 3-1
Derbys defence don't look great, 2 aging centre backs to run against for Reading Still relying on Keogh Derby ![]() |
By:
All that money spend and they still haven't found anyone better than Keogh?
![]() |
By:
I'm quite miffed they haven't at least got Marriott on the bench Derby, spent all summer chasing him and he's left at home in favor of having Bennett on the bench
![]() Evans also not even in the squad, and they spent 2m on him last week? think he was your lots wasn't he sonko? |
By:
Reading did well to get anything for Evans, cant see him getting in the Derby team too often.
By:
Derby do like to spend money on below average players
I mean it was you guys that convinced them to fork out 3m for Blackman (6 months left on his contract). he's not scored a competitive goal for them either ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I mean its bad enough spending 3m for that goal stat alone, but he only had 6 months left on his contract ![]() Absolutely bonkers |
By:
away win, for me
By:
Its times like this where I'd be chuffed if the other team plays the party pooper
The thorning over Lampard is quite nauseating |
By:
Ilori is a car crash defender, always gives away goals.
By:
I rest my case regarding Keogh, the bloke is a total liability
![]() made that mistake in 2014 and is still there to this day ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Is Bodvarsson the best forward Reading have got?
By:
Reading have signed 2 new strikers who you would think are better, daddi is just getting his loyal start of the season.
Derby striker just broke the electronic advertising board with his shot ![]() |
By:
derby dont look any different from last season
By:
Tyical Championship War of Attrition.
By:
Derby look bloody awful, morpteh
Might as well be 200/1 for promotion because they are going nowhere |
By:
They've spent even more money as well lol
If I was their owner I'd jack in as a bad job tbh |
By:
coronation street calls
By:
Derby look like Reading under Jaap Stam, passing along the back for no progression.
By:
The way my Derby supporting mate was going on I expected this Derby team to be this swashbuckling free styling team, instead its just a slightly more passing version of what they were under Rowett
![]() |
By:
Very poor from Derby but Reading dont look like scoring.
By:
Betfair may as well put up the next Derby manager market now.
By:
That was horrible
They were crowing about this high tempo, pressing style, movement all over the pitch I know its only 45 minutes but there's no high tempo, certainly no pressing, and fe** all movement off the ball hence the pis** passing around I'd be livid if I was their owner, every single one of his managers produces this c*** ![]() ![]() |
By:
Not just his uncle Harry who struggles with Reading.
By:
They've got one of the highest budgets in the league and they can't even find a proper centre back pairing, their full backs are woeful as well
Its quite funny, but then you realise kids are going hungry so rich wa***** in suits can p*** money up the wall on a toy set |
By:
4 years and still persevering with Richard Keogh
![]() I'm literally speechless |
By:
Clement tactics have pressed the Derby back 4 high up the pitch and it is working well, Lampard has stuck with it so far.
By:
well done mcshane
Sky obsession with lampard is funny |
