Hard to see Aberdeen getting a result against Burnley but you never know.

Rangers have a tough tie too in Croatia.

Hibs the best chance of progressing out of the three.

Aberdeen had to cancel a friendly against ICT because of a lack of fit players.
That was 2 weeks ago but McInnes said it was still an issue tail end of last week.

I've also heard Osijek have some injury worries.

Did Osijek not take a few mighty scalps last year or year before?

They ko'ed PSV last year.
Nothing to worry about Cry

PSV haven't been a scalp for 20 odd years.

Didn't the Croats beat some real teams tho, last season.?

Anyone else thinking Burnley slightly too short away at Aberdeen?

Basically depends on your opinion of Aberdeen, also pre-season effectively so who knows. But are Aberdeen any better than like League 2 standard?

They're not that bad for sure, usually win at least a couple of European ties at home. They beat Limassol at home in this comp last year. Same opposition gave Everton decent game in that comp.

Drew at Everton

Admittedly they've been poor in away Europe ties for sure.

The tie is in Burnley's hands. If they want it, they'll go thru no problem.

we just don't know if they want it, and thats why they're not shorter..

May go through, but tonight's game is a different question at Aberdeen.
By:
NOW WE KNOW
When: 26 Jul 18 11:34
No Heaton, Barnes, Defour and Brady. Still looks a strong squad and fully expect at least a draw.
By:
Platini
When: 26 Jul 18 12:10
untouchable game tonight. They can afford to lose knowing they're capable of destroying the sheep at Turf Moor, if they want.

Osijek must have a fair chance against Sevco.I do hope so given that the GASL's business plan is solely dependent upon Sevco reaching the Group stages.

So,c'mon Osijek,rid us of 'Scotland's shame',though no doubt there will be a mark 3.

It's been our home form in Europe that's held us back, too many score draws. Nothing wrong with the vast majority of our away performances, unless Rijeka and Groningen were wonderful dreams.

Reynolds is the only major injury absence and he probably wouldn't have played anyway, so don't pay too much attention to manager speak.

And we'd quite easily win any league where Jayden ****g Stockley is one of the top scorers. We still can't believe someone actually paid money for him.

I'd sell my granny for a 0-0 tonight.

Anyway, best of luck to the Scottish teams involved tonight, even Hibs(heresy),but not to Sevco.

agree with that, hopefully they get a right tanking tonight.

Not sure about Osijek, their Euro form doesn't impress me and they've got some injuries.
As for Hibs, who knows ?  Its Hibs, anything can happen Laugh

yes, couldnt back them at odds on with stolen money, 1st competitive game away from home and 1st leg of the tie, imo you would have to be nuts to back burnley here, all about opinions tho Grin

The 2nd leg is on tv grant.

Sad to say I'd also be delighted with a 0-0. The line up tonight does not inspire confidence. If I had a gun to my head to pick a selection, I'd say pull the trigger.
