Falling to the floor holding their face (add another 3 matches for screaming in agony at the same time).
Picking up the ball immediately the opposition gets awarded a free kick.
Standing over or by, or walking over, the ball for opposition free kicks.
Putting their arms up claiming a goal kick/corner which they know isn't theirs
Rolling over more than once when being tripped.
Waving imaginary cards at the referee.
Shouting/swearing in the referee's face.
Perhaps these may be viewed as a little harsh, but how much better could the game be with the cheating taken out of it?

Two recent ones, both against England.
Scuffing up the penalty spot.
Moving the ball back 3 yards from the white line painted by the ref as Sweden did yesterday.
You may wonder why but it gave the free kick taker a better chance to get it over the wall but fortunately he was a hopeless shot.

Spitting at an opposing player, 5 match ban and a kick in the Alberts for good measure.
any kind of simulation/diving/waving imaginary cards at referees should result in 3-5 match bans for players. simples

I never got this 'give him a 5 match ban' argument.
A player gets a ban he still picks up his 100 bags a week does he not?
The answer is this.
Lets take wayne rooney.
Say he gobs off at the ref every week for the season.
Dont ban him cos he still gets paid.
Fine him instead.
Every time he gobs off, two weeks wages fine.
But guess what wayne. You are in the team next week.
SO he goes out the following week and gobs off again.
ANother two weeks wages fine. And so on.
Even with the limited intelligence of the average footballer the message would surely sink in eventually..

Pretending not to notice when substituted - then taking an hour and a half to "run" off (diverting to shake everyone's hand including the bemused ref) who's yelling "get off the feckin' pitch" - doing that ridiculous running on the spot action - all arms and going nowhere - a sure sign they are winning -
