Ok , excellent avoidance of straight answer .
My definition of a 'World Class side' is achieving a World Cup semi-final . Can't be judged on friendlies or qualifiers cos of all the dross involved . Can only be judged on the World Stage , an opportunity that only arises every four years .

`Their' team.

Most supporters of the likes of Everton/Lpool/Man U/Man C have no affiliation to the England team. They commit 100% to their team and there is no room for anything else.

Carragher is one of the few brave enough to admit he would far rather win a trophy for Liverpool then England.

You can say "hype jobs" in the groups or last 16 but not when we've reached the last 4

We are no longer hype jobs at this stage we have gone deep in a major tournament and have the top scorer in our team plus a 6-1 win and a very easy 2-0 in a last 8 match

This side has gone into the lions den and made it look easy in reaching a semi final ffs, we deserve a little respect.

Whoever England have to play in the final, if they get there, have a good chance of being more tired and possibly more injuries and suspensions given the games they'll have to get through to get there. Then there's the possibility that it won't be Belgium or Italy.

I wouldn't fancy Belgium against England even with a fully fit squad and there are already doubts over Hazard and de Bruyne. They don't look strong at the back and are mental midgets imo. Spain look well beatable too but they would probably have a lot more of the ball. The Swiss and Italy might be the worst matchup for England in terms of how they will play.
