I agree. I hope they do win but people are ejaculating because they beat Sweden. Not Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Italy etc. etc. but Sweden. The BBC commentator said it was incredible that England were dominating a quarter-final. Yeah, because they're playing Sweden. In all likelyhood they'll play France in the final and get found out.

Couldn't beat Italy because Sweden knocked them out. Germany were in Sweden's group and finished bottom. I think people are just enjoying the good vibe that this is bringing the country.

It's hardly our fault that we've played the aforementioned teams .
I'm sure that given the choice we'd have been lumped in a group with Brazil , France and Germany and then following a miracle in qualifying from that group met Spain in the last 16 and a 1/4 final v Argentina . Unfortunately we've got past the teams put in front of us and there nowt we can do about that . |

Therein lies the problem for me. England should have out out a strong side to face Belgium instead of cowardly trying to avoid Brazil, whom I believe they would have beaten anyway. England’s route to the semis is less meritorious because of that. |

I have it on good authority from one of my FA moles that several years ago they applied for a DNA test on Neymar because the FA had information suggesting that he was Ronnie Biggs lovechild . Ronnie Biggs returned to the UK in order to provide a DNA sample but unfortunately passed away before the paperwork was completed . However , there does seem to be an uncanny resemblance ..........

Cannot remember the last time we were favourites to win every single match in the World Cup finals.
Surely this illustrates how poor the opposition have been for whatever reason. My conclusion is we have not yet met a world class side, but the question has to be , is there one left in the competition ? |
