I'll be laying France to begin with, don't think they'll be a goal until the second half, probably past the hour mark before France eventually lead. Uruguay along with Brazil have the best defence in the World Cup and it's deserved, their Garra Charrua mentality has been impressive but they haven't faced any attack with the quality France have, Mbpape however will not be as effective as he was against Argentina, no chance he'll be allowed to make as many cutting runs as he did and Argentina who were due a hiding. Will be interesting to see Griezmann come up against his Atletico teammates Godin and Gimenez.
Most players on 1 yellow are French but they're wiped out tonight so no worries about picking up another one for suspension, don't know who the ref is yet.

Missed a bit of first half, hows Giroud been playing so far, or is he at his usual doing fcuk all.
you cant beat a goal to change the pundits views on a game,go in nil,nil everyone say how well Uruguay are doing a few chances more threat than france etc,even after the goal it was all Uruguay 2 or 3 chances, but now its france should win,uruguay no threat etc,etc

he's doing ok surprisingly.
Radio pundits are caling this a "brilliant game". I'm not seeing it, tbh.
France should put on someone else who is fast in place of Giroud, as Uruguay gonna have to get forward now, Giroud about as fast as a sloth wearing clogs.
Genuinely don't understand how Giroud gets in this team, even his knock-ons with the head go to the opponents.

nevo now finding reasons for a non contact instead of saying mbappe went down like Neymar on steroids,or Henderson,thats why gordoin went over he saw it ,then pogba causes the next incient and its all the south americans fault ,
Kante is arguably the best player in the world, he does the work of 2 men.

best thing and most interesting aspect of this match for me has been both siders manning up at set pieces getting on with it no screaming for pens and var ,unlike England who are becoming embarrassing at it

Yeah agree France not been very good today, few poor performances from their front players.

Uruguay shockingly bad with the ball all game. Playing it in the air a lot, even for short passes
France have not used up any energy to win this game.
France have barely been out of 2nd gear but they haven't needed to.
i think the keepers have been the difference here, great save for lloris end of the first half and of course the mistake second half from muslera, shot count pretty similar (obvious outcome affected to some extent)
France have cruised through 2 very tricky games tbf, both were good south american teams and they've come through them easily enough, even when 1-2 down in the last game they always looked like the better team in hindsight

We wont get a better chance of reaching a final now that is for sure 
South American sides are generally overrated, when it comes to the World Cup in recent years they're usually sent packing, 9 of the last 12 semi finalists have been European, 5 of the 6 finalist European
