Newcastle United are delighted to announce the signing of highly rated Ivorian winger Bazoumana Touré on a long-term contract.
The 20-year-old, who featured three times at this summer's FIFA World Cup as the Ivory Coast reached the knockout stages, arrives from Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim for an undisclosed fee.
Bazoumana becomes the club's second senior arrival this summer following the addition of coveted French goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen, who officially became a Newcastle United player on Wednesday.
Bazoumana said: "I'm very, very happy to be here. It was my dream since I was young to play in the Premier League for a big team like Newcastle.
"Newcastle is like a family, which will help me show my best on the pitch. I will give my best every single day for this shirt.
"I'm very excited to join Newcastle and I can't wait to meet my team-mates, the supporters and everybody at the club. I'm also very excited to play at St. James' Park for the first time."

Dutch midfielder arrives on a long-term deal from Eredivisie giants Ajax.
Newcastle United are delighted to announce the signing of young Dutch midfielder Sean Steur from Ajax.
The 18-year-old, capped by the Netherlands at Under-19s level, has penned a five-year deal at St. James’ Park and joins for an undisclosed fee.
Sean, who will wear shirt number 14, becomes the club’s third senior arrival this summer following the recent signings of French goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen and Ivorian winger Bazoumana Touré.
Sean said: “It’s an incredible feeling to be here. It’s a giant club in the Premier League and it was always my dream to play in the best league in the world, so this is really exciting.
“I was at home at Ajax – I joined when I was seven and I leave with only good memories, but when a club like Newcastle comes for you, it’s really hard to say no. The last few days have gone fast and I’m very happy to join.
“I’m a player who likes to get on the ball and play forward all the time. I’m happy playing between the lines and I feel I have a lot of energy in my game. I just want to win.”

Newcastle United defender Harrison Ashby has joined League One side Luton Town on a season-long loan deal.
Harrison made eight appearances while on loan with Bradford City in League One during the second half of the 2025/26 season.
The 24-year-old right back joined the club in January 2023 from West Ham United before completing loan spells in the Championship with Swansea City and Queens Park Rangers.
He will now link up with Jack Wilshere’s squad as they look to improve on last season’s seventh-place finish, which saw them narrowly miss out on the League One play-offs.
Everyone at Newcastle United would like to wish Harrison well for the season ahead.

Its a left back and a right back we need, yet no sign of either?
The Jormans are shyte, how else would Wolt and Thiaw get in their squads. Hopefully Wissa will be like a new signing up front but more needed imo?

My take on last nights game. The conditions must have been so hard to play in and i concede i probably am a bit harsh but these are just my thoughts.
Pickford,on his day i wouldnt take anyone else, however last night he seemed nervous and unsure.y big fault with him is he wants to get too involved in the game with his feet. Konsa, not a right back and a poor centre half, the everton lad and sunlun lad far better players. Stones, too slow now and another one lucky to get a game because of who he plays for. Guehi, our best defender does very little wrong, very steady and reliable. Not world class though Oreilly, canny going forward but positional sense is twatful Rice, cant fault him when fit but clearly wasnt last night Anderson, overvalued by about a 100 mill on current form, needs to be trying to split defence with forward balls more often imo. Belligham, good game, top player with an attitude but then most top players do.well done. Mandeko, really?international footballer? Murphys better. Gordon, done what gordon does, fustrated and annoyed then passed a goodun.I think we have done well Kane, tried his pluck out but to me looked tired slow and in need of a break.Cant falt his effort though.
Nen of subs really came on and took game by scruff of neck and furthered their cause.
Bit of dayja vu there like.My take on last nights game. The conditions must have been so hard to play in and i concede i probably am a bit harsh but these are just my thoughts.Pickford,on his day i wouldnt take anyone else, however last night he seemed
Agree with most of that pointa. Manager needs some stick for not bringing on our only other fit central midfielder (Mainoo) when Rice came off. The whole defence is shyte, how BDB didnt get a start last night is baffling.
Bring on the Argies.

Lad might want champions league before moving on. getting likes of Trippier was good as statement, but we are trying to sigh top players, and they can get more elsewhere.
Swiss lad is a good player, looking for a stepping stone,
Agents looking for their bit, and move him on for more.

Why say they have agreements in place then? Building fans up/taking mick, about ambition. Using these deals? to gloss over the clear negative feeling in the camp with everybody wanting to jump,to try and fool fans into thinking we are in the mix for top players is wrong and deceitful.
