golden boot is awarded to top scorer, but if there is a tie it is awarded to top scorer who had most assists... if they are tied for assists also then its least playing time. |

looking at the fixtures, id expect spain to turn over morocco and iran for 3 or 4 goals, panama are also dire having watched loads of their qualifying so the england and belgium teams could be involved in a 5-6 goal game

I've only ever seen Marathonbet state in their rules and settle on the Official Golden Boot winner. All others settle on most goals with dead heat rules AFAIK

Morocco are the best team in Africa imo with a defence at least as good as most of the European teams. Iran are underated too, and both are very defensive as are Portugal. It's the hardest group of the lot imo

france play denmark, peru and aus. i know nothing about the aussies but peru are grafters and looked alright in qualifying, i dont think theyll have any big scoresin their group

I think France's group is weaker. Portugal are better than Denmark, Iran are better than Australia and Morocco are better than Peru (on paper at least) Peru missing their captain

One freak friendly result in a game in which Portugal had twice as many shots, a red card and 7 corners to the Dutch's 0. Dtill the only group bet I've had is Morocco to qualify and the Spain/Morocco group forecast, but that's primarily because I rate Morocco (and Spain) rather than think Portugal are weak.

Fwiw Peru lost 2-0 away in Bolivia and Chile drew 0-0 at home to Bolivia. Chile made an official complaint about the eligibilty of one of the Bolivian players which was upheld and both Peru and Chile were awarded 3-0 wins. It in effect cost Chile a place in the WC final at the expense of Peru, as Chile and Peru finished level on points.
