Whoever wins a game of football deserves to win unless the other team had goals wrongly ruled out or the winning team were diving to win pens.
Other than that, you could have 10000 shots on goal and score 0. The other team could have 1 shot on goal and score. The team that scored deserves to go through, that's how soccerball works people. You deserve what you get. Moral victories mean nothing. |

Ronaldo is the most utter piece of cheating, diving, I love myself, gets away with it, people fall for me shoite.
Nothing 'real' about him. I am falling out of love with football in general and some other sports too. Money talks, then actions, pure greed. Sure, it's all been around forever but so much worse now. all IMO. |

No wonder NO English refs going to the World Cup. Oliver just sums the poor refs in England. A game of that magnitude decided on the call of a referee once again. The Madrid player falls down like a feather. It was NOT a certain penalty. If any doubt you cannot award it.

I had no financial interests on the game tonight. Speaking as a neutral observer I just feel a decision like that has to be 100% certain. Pundits on radio & TV mostly admit it was on the soft side. As u say the papers will state penalty. That's it in a nut shell

If that's your team and you don't get that pen you are livid - might have got away with it if charging in and wrapping his leg round the waist of the attacker without the push. That happens to Juve and they don't get it I've a feeling those saying def no pen would be saying something different!

it was a foul - if the defender doesn't touch him and is nowhere near him he most probably scores, or the keeper takes him out.
