Team News

Kilmarnock midfielder Alan Power is a doubt after being forced off with a knock in the win over Motherwell.
Defender Scott Boyd trained on Thursday following illness and is expected to play, while Stuart Findlay could return from a leg injury.

Midfielder Ryan Jack is suspended for Rangers.
The experienced trio of Lee Wallace, Kenny Miller and Graham Dorrans are all missing through injury, along with Jordan Rossiter.

Killie trio Gordon Greer, Iain Wilson and Steven Smith remain out for the hosts.

PRE-MATCH VIEWS:
Kilmarnock player Greg Taylor: "Once you lose a few games it's easy to get on a bad run, and you feel as though things start to go against you.
"You feel as though you're playing well but not getting the results.
"Since the gaffer came in we have picked up those [positive] results and continued to play well, so it's been a big turnaround and hopefully we can keep it up.
"He's very hands on in training. He has got his ideas and gets his thoughts across quickly.
"We are pressing at the right time and getting points and that's what you need."

Rangers manager Graeme Murty: "It's up to me now to make sure at the end of the season we're moving forward. This is happening for me far earlier than I thought it would but it's an unbelievable opportunity for me now.

"That's what I want to view it as and one I want to grab with both hands.

"It is a daunting task but it's my task now. I've got a set term I can work towards and I'm thankful for the opportunity."

Tough game coming up & I'll go 1-1.  Is Boyd still with Killie?  Bet he scores if he is AngryLaugh

Ta.  They've a few other ex-Bears in their squad too I notice from the "to score" market.  K Boyd 5/2 ... hmmm, just can't bring myself to do it ... no way I'll be wanting any of the Killie Boys to score LaughAngry

it was a clear dive by the killie player trying to get the rangers player sent off

the fact he never got booked for the dive but got a free kick proves what I said about the ref.

I'm just amazed that this second rate rangers team is so far up the league when they're still miles from being back to their best.

Luckily for them all the other teams in the SPL are really poor as well right now so when they do get a decent team back, they should be back winning the league again.

U will be spouting your nonsense next about how well your team played in world cup qualifying and should have finished above England in the group!

What was the difference? 8 (eight) points?

The bitter and deluded Outpost think Sevco will soon have a team capable of challenging Celtic.
Probably in twenty or thirty years time.LaughLaughLaughLaugh
Looking for loans to keep the lights on until the end of the season    and having to put the youth coach in charge of the first team as no half decent manager will touch them.LaughLaughLaughLaugh
Sevco the gift that keeps on giving.LaughLaughLaughLaugh

There's more than one Rangers fan on here who thought the sunbed salesman would do a good job, even when everyone else could see he was a joke. Then McInnes wouldn't take it because he could see the whole club was a joke. Rangers' fans highlight of the season was Hearts beating Celtic, and you'd swear their own team had won the league. A laughing stock.

Great result for Killie today, into the top 6 over Christmas, who would of foreseen that ? Steve Clarke is on a 3 year contract and I'am sure he'll see out a year but someone will come calling, wouldn't be surprised if Sevco came scurrying round with their little whiskers twitching. Clarke will have some great contacts down south with the company he has mixed with, if someone came in for him, Killie aren't in a position to turn down money.

Well done to the Killie Boys but I can't have you sitting Top Six at the expense of the Super Saintees when 2018 arrives ...

Nae luck with the 1-2 scoreline Aka.  We were both close & at least we had the balls to predict a scoreline Grin
