As a Tottenham fan who has been going to the lane since the late 70s and seen some of the very best ( and worst!) as much as Harry is a talent who yes can score with both feet and head and is on fire now I agree with our non spurs supporters above in that when it comes to the games when it matters i.e. West Ham away last season and up against the big sides he comes up short and until he does that regularly he can't be put nowhere near world class let's hope he proves me wrong but a linekar or klinsmann he def aint

not sure it's about the money any more. no one has any faith in the england team over the last 10 years so hopeless have they been

people still got behind the so called the golden generation even though that team was full of players who were not exactly likeable which you certainly can't say about the current team

he's a miles better player than gary lineker the archetypal 6 box player. at kane's age now he'd hardly done anything of note

kane is a far superior all round player a deadly finisher scoring all types of goals many from outside the box

West Ham game was a dead rubber after Chelsea won 3-0 at Goodison the previous weekend. I'm puzzled as to why some people attached so much importance to it.  Did you fall for the Sky Sports hype that the title race was still on? Confused

Agree he scores all types of goals and cannot knock his finishing lately but he will only turn me around when he does it when it matters knocking in 3s against the mug teams and end of season when it was all over don't make you world class

agreed. he still has a lot to prove. also you have to contribute more than goals to a team. he does nothing for england if he doesnt score

Sofaking Ive been going to the lane since 1977 so think that probably qualifies me as a spurs man everyone's entitled to there opinion and much as I love it when Harry scores i can't have him as world class or nowhere near till he does it when it matters

So the goals he's scored against Arsenal, Chelsea and Dortmund didn't matter?

If your talking about the semi final apart from the goal he was non existent in a game where it really mattered as for the Dortmund game which could ave gone either way he didn't do much else and missed a golden chance early 2nd half to put the game to bed il give you the winner against arsenal and if he does in the games against Madrid and against the top boys regularly I will gladly come back on and take the flak

It's the world stage that matters sofe, if I remember rightly he was worse than a wet sandwich at the euros

So was the entire team.  Can't expect him to bang the goals in when he received zero service and while he was on corner duty. Anyway, I don't give a **** what he does for England.

he's got to do more than just "bang the goals in". IMO. set up some goals. beat a man. be a force. elbow some defenders. all he does is score. you've got to bring more to be a top player.

Vardy was a one season wonder (and what a season it was).  He's lost his fire since winning a PL medal. he's Finnish.

Tbh I haven't seen much of Leicester this season, I hope he's not finished, one of those players that could make a difference on his day he had a bit of pzazzz about him like a vagazzle but yeah you're probably right

Mafeking must have been on the vino last night. Kane is better than Lineker.LaughLaughLaugh.

Kane is more like another old Spurs hero Mark Falco.

falco was a decent enough player and incidentally the last forward before kane to come through the youth ranks and have a proper career at spurs but kane has more goals already than he scored in his entire career
