Scotland missing Brown (no great loss) and Armstrong through injury whilst Slovakia are missing the suspended defender Milan Skriniar and injured forward Michal Duris.
A must win to give us any chance of qualifying from the group but gonna be a difficult night. Not expecting a lot of goals. Heart says Scotland but head suggests Slovakia 1.0 or Draw 1-1.
we get a brave reff and the clown proven clls him shocking and you wonder why diving is a disease in football, dive itself should have been a straight red shocking

Scotland have worked very hard 1st half....few chances though. Refs still
allowing 2 handed push offs che ating....though some might say "soft" penalty claim.....che ating is bad sportmanship and should be punished ...ALWAYS!
Suspect Scotland players will get very knackered half way though 2nd half.....now probably a DRAW likely.

Strachan wants to stay in the job now is the time to make changes. Now Mak is off Tierney is doing nothing, no one to mark and he doesn't have the ability to attack from the right. Fletcher/Morrison/Bannan offer no attacking threat. Phillips hasn't done anything and Forrest has a one on one with the right back when you are supposedly v 10 men meant to stretch the pitch but decides to go wandering all over.
Get Fraser on for Forrest. He's an out and out winger who will run at the right back continually. Swap Bannan for McGregor. He's a proper attacking midfielder who scores goals. Possible even change the system to get 2 up front.
Strachan this is your D-Day

Can't fault efforts ...so far ....but wish they would take ball to bye line then cross....makes all the difference to the amount of havoc this can cause...especially in modern game.

What the fuuck are we doing with still Fletcher Bannan Morrison on the park when we have attacking threats on the bench
Strachan get to fuuck ya negative cuunt

Can't believe he's made no changes. We're playing 10 men and need a win ffs
Surely if you've watched the previous games in Strachan's campaigns you wouldn't be surprised by this.

What I don't get is it's win all or nothing. You may as well lose than draw.
I don't rate the likes of Chris Coleman but he would of went all out attack for the win. Every time you give Strachan another chance he comes up with this negative piish

He doesn't care. He'll be quite happy to say we didn't lose and we were unlucky and he's very proud of the performance rather than go for a win and have the possibility of losing a goal against 10 men.

Hopefully Slovenia will play their under 10's on Sunday now they have nothing to play for.
Surely they don't want a team with a similar name at the World Cup.

great result for us, got a massive slice of luck with the early red card but we're due some luck. Its set up exactly the way I predicted. Going to the wire.
Hope I'm wrong with my earlier prediction (we'll beat Slovakia then get pumped off Slovenia )

bankit yer getting carried away you know we'll probably fuuck it up in Slovenia
If not I believe we are unseeded no matter what so there is every chance we'll get Italy

Dosh.... I'm no getting carried away I know fine well how we do it! When we went 2-1 up against England I put £15 on the draw, knew we would find a way to piss it away!

No Aka, they were 3/1 to finish in top 2 (Slovakia were 8/11 -I highlighted that as a huge gift) 9/2 was the "to qualify" price.
got them from the odds checker site.

It's funny I was thinking who gives a fuuck it's in Russia who's gonna bother with visa problems and the like.
Now I'm having hopeful doubts having never been to an international tournament. Could we possibly do it?

You don't need a visa if you have a ticket for a game.

Sweden, Portugal, Northern Ireland, Denmark, Italy, Iceland and one other depending on total points would likely be the teams we would meat in the qualifiers.

Terrible odds then Plat. 6/4, 7/4 and at least 1/1 in the play-offs. That works out at nearly 13/1. Am I missing something? (I'll make the 'yes a brain' joke before Gees does)

aka I'm just yanking yer chain over the Rangers thing. I'm sure the majority of us have personal lives far more important than the kicking of a spherical object into a rectangular shape. Hope you had a good holiday by the way.
Saying that Scotland qualifying for an international tournament would be one of the greatest achievements in my lifetime.
COME ON OUR NATION

I've been to a couple of finals Gees. Fantastic occasions. 74 the best ever experience. Was worth it for the Brazil game alone. If only Billy hadn't got the ball trapped between his feet. we were the only unbeaten team in the finals.

You are a lucky buugger my friend in some ways. At least you've been to a championship. I was meant to go to World Cup 98 in France but I had a diamond of a work job at the time and I thought nae worries I'll nick in to the next one. That's worked out well right enough
I'd take us in North Korea if we'd qualify for a tournie

as it stands something like this - seeded teams will be portugal/switzerland, italy, norn ireland and sweden who will play denmark, iceland, scotland and bosnia

Let's be fair. As soon as Scotland's so-called Player of the Year, Armstrong, gave away possession, like a twelve year old kid, to Cahill at Hampden, in 90+ minutes, instead of putting the ball high, wide and handsome, anywhere else on the park, we knew it was ending like this - again! lmao. Mind you, that's not the best chance we ever blew of winning the World Cup. That was in 1965 at Hampden when we threw away a 1-0 lead against Poland. Just imagine what Law, Baxter, Mackay, Bremner etc would have done to you English in '66. Baxter would have totally demoralised Jimmy Clitheroe's love child Bremner and Mackay murdered your midfield as Denis Law stuck a few past Banks after serial nut-megging England's answer to hatchet man.N.Stiles - probably the biggest thug ever to grace Wembley! You'd have needed more than "Sir" Stanley Rous and a poncie Russian linesman then!

You certainly had some decent players in those days, and I understand your nostalgia whwn comparing them to today's rubbish.
But they weren't world beaters, which is why they didn't qualify.
