gut feeling , you may have missed it on thread , I did up to bet 9 before I lost , lost again , then another run of 7 before losing again , all on this thread , decided 18 on trot is impossible , so now doing runs of 5 , banking winnings , doing 5 again etc , as a matter of interest , wanted to know what my strike rate is , so indulging on this thread to record , so far bet 19 , , 16 winners , I admit , greened out a lot of times before the end , ..tonight I greened too early , but had to ask myself , would I bet my stake and green winning to win slither more at 56 min 1-0 , answer was no , so I did ..win is a win..well done tonight too

That's fair enough but if you get 9 you have only 9 to go you can do this forget about the number on the screen it's only a number. STICK this into your head. You can do it. 10 badger it's not to much to lose I will go all the way if iam lucky.

I ve never worked out my strike rate , its an interesting exercise , sorry if it bothers you , please skip my messages if you like if you see my id name appear ....you telling me if you were on 10k you would gamble everything , do or die ...walk away with nothing ?..don't think so , in fact when you get to a grand it will be hard to gamble all .....its a bit of fun now , few more winners , sense will take over ..good luck with your bets

the difference between 10 and 15 is only another 1/2.
ITS TIME TO SETTLE AND THINK ABOUT THIS. Climbing Everest is a very tall order .point 1.one mountaineer has no chance of doing it on his own unless he has prior knowledge of the climb.point 2.one slip and its sudden death.point 3.To get to the top its my guess you may need 20 mountaineers,and most of these will perish.point 4.preparing for a serious assault may be more expensive if a guy has 20 climbers in his team but should one climber reach the top the expense is very little.POINT 5.The twenty climbers would have to work as a team and go in rotation one step at a time.point 6.It can be done ,but not in a hurry,each stage sets its own challenges and losing a climber will weaken your team,and moving 20 climbers(mountaineers)from base camp to first camp takes a lot of time. point 7.anyone setting out on this journey should not treat this challenge as fun,because if a team is ultra careful 5 or 6 of the same team could reach the top.point 8.IF you reach the top you don't have to worry about getting back down because you will be on cloud 9 and you can float down.point 9.you will have loads of new friends if you reach the top.10.good luck if you try it.  |

Brass I enjoy most of your posts , but sorry this one makes little sense ...even if someone was luck enough to string 17 , that's 1000/1 btw , no one ...I mean no one is going to gamble all or nothing 10k on bet 18 ..in fact sense will kick in a lot earlier , to most a grand is a pressure punt ....which will be about bet 12

Gip,anyone can get off the mountain any time he likes.there is no hard or fast rules.i picked 15 grand because there was 18 weeks to Christmas.i assure you if I reached 5000 meters I think I would come back down.
 BUT LISTEN TO THIS=if a guy starts off with 10 he has a choice to make it up to 15 quid.perhaps a guy is better to crawl to 15 taking loads of steps to get there.it is just a challenge I posted. I will continue trying to get one bet a week for 18 weeks at 1/2 and review the situation each week as I go along. Moonbeam said tonight anyone can try it with whatever stake he wishes to start with and stop when he likes.(I think he is correct,every one has their own price,so anyone can do whatever the like)but what will happen is that everyone will fall back on their old habits of gambling,it always happens. In fact anyone can try it for free,just to see if it can be done. But for me its 18 strikes ,one a week at 1/2 and of course I will review as I go along. BUT I REALLY THINK I CAN DO IT.so come on shrewsbury and rochdale score for Brass, 3 goals please, the Brass needs the cash. |

Brass didn't mean to derail the thread but the reason i say that is i understand the value of compound interest
some have made it to £100 already.. if they'd started with £25 they'd be at £250.. so early value is being lost scrabbling at the foot of the mountain .. at £250 it becomes more real a lot sooner need to draw the line somewhere though like £50 max the fact of the matter is some guys just aren't good at handling money they're just not used to it .. Gib shows early warning signs laying off almost every bet (and don't split bets just wait for a winner) you just need to chill a bit till you hid the mid hundreds.. you're only risking £10 you'll also find most favs that take the lead go onto win .. the ones you have to worry about are like i said drawing at 60+ minutes  |

Moonbeam , I hear what you are saying and for what its worth agree with you , but I have like all you guys I m sure have lost wining bets too many times when I could green , thing is I m backing these teams with "seperate" money apart from the bet , ....last night I had £360 on M`boro at 56 min its 1-0 , they have only scored 1 goal each game this season so far , I wasn't watching game to gauge , so I had to ask myself this question , I could green for + £120 ...or could wait for max + £178 , so would I gamble at 56 min £480 for + £58 extra ?...answer was no = green up .I like this thread as punters are having to really concentrate on giving good selections .....good luck all

gut feeling , no offence taken ....thing is we can see where thread is going ..runs will finish for some , and the others that do well will need to ask themselves at bet 12 or so do I gamble a grand or so and say to themselves its only a tenner ?

yip you are totally right it will be a different ball game at bet 10 to 12 for us average Joe's my biggest ever bet has only been £100 pounds on so don't know how I will deal with it if fortunate to get there.lol.

Right lads,this is the new idea,
1=get a note book and pen. 2=lodge 25 quid into some gambling account. 3=write across the top of page one"assault on Everest" 4=17 steps =10 grand. 5=you start with a bank of 25 quid ,but you work with 10 quid and try to get 50% each stage. 6=it does not matter how you get from stage to stage you can do any kind of bet you care to do, take as long as you like but you have to get 50% profit each stage. 7=the extra 15 quid can be used for a back up plan if something goes wrong. 8=just focus on the first stage,turn 10 quid into 15 and the rest.(you can take a week to complete each stage ) but make sure you complete it. 9=it can be done 10=you will stand on the top of Everest on Christmas week with 10 grand profit.(but watch out for the snow blizzards" 11=respect this Mount Everest challenge ,its not easy but its worth it(10 grand)good luck to anyone who has a go,"no rules just get their,and I will see you all at the top on 22 nd December 2017.  |

The mood is good as everyone moves up from the bottom of mount Everest,it is important focus on the next stage only ,if you are on stage 3(33 quid) be disciplined and focus towards your next stage (as if you were really climbing Everest.one slip and its all over,
sometimes when it is easy and you breeze to the next stage ,confidence is high and that is when you slip,each stage deserves the utmost respect,remember there are only 17 stages and some guys are doing really great.so keep the good work up ,but be careful,and don't overrun your luck.have a break and have a cup of tea"you know you can do it if you are brave enough ,correction=YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO IT.FULL STOP.Good luck to all. |
