Bit tainted by the Suarez dive !

Also not seen replay for the DiMaria pen incident at 3-1 but looked stonewall at the time

But still , it takes some beating , especially as even Messi had bottled it at the end

wouldnt invest any time or emotion watching any Spanish football...if it's not shooting practice, it's 90 mins decided by a dive or a ridiculous handball decision...waste of time...shame

Great post tobes. Totally agree. Lost all impact for me for the fact Suarez took a total dive, had they done it legally I'd doth my cap.

Has there been a replay of this yet? I admit it looked a pen, but I was kind of put off by only Di Maria was appealing for it, you'd think if it was stonewall all the PSG players would have been surrounding the ref (unless they couldn't be bothered just thinking the tie was over).

Would he have been the first player to be given 2 yellows for diving in the same game ?

how did messi bottle it?

I finally saw a replay and tbh it seems DiMaria just fkd it up

Mascherano was closing in and seemed to lunge at him and at the time i couldn;t figure how DiMaria could have missed the target unless he was caught but i don't think he got to him

Is the penalty taker and gave the ball to Neymar

It was the fact that only Di Maria appealed while someone else (Cavani I assume) was up there, that put me off from thinking it was a pen.

.....could you imagine that game with video refs???

Barce share pens all the time. I didn't fancy Neymar at all though, he must have an awful record from the penalty spot historically, and his run up is never convincing.

Tonight was the first real time I've seen Neymar change a big game full stop. He was exceptional tonight.

When: 08 Mar 17 22:59
had he not already taken one he would have done so, he's taken many late pressure penalties recently, dont think he's a bottler
By:

When: 08 Mar 17 23:04
there was more pressure on messi pen in any case, had neymar missed no one really would have thought they'd have got the 6th goal anyway
By:

When: 08 Mar 17 23:05
I've seen them share the pens when they are 4 goals up against Getafe , but when it matters surely you have a number 1 and he takes it
By:

Neymar was the guy driving the team though tbf in that comeback. Barce heads had appeared dropped until his free kick which was exceptional in itself.

Can not believe how Suarez is constantly getting away with fooling referees and on top of that trying to get opponents sent off, what a poor night for football. Such a gifted footballer and a very poor sportsman.  O well onwards and upwards......
